I wish we were playing again tonight.

Love being the more physical team in the series. As much as I loved those Lebron teams, I was Always jealous of how hard a team like PG’s Pacers played is in those series.

Luckily we have the coaching experience to take the next step.

Keep shocking the world. Game 2 is so huge for us.

Also, which poster here came up with the brilliant idea of having Crowder/Iggy on Giannis all night with Bam in help..... oh yea

you could see Giannis check out in the 4th quarter as everything was going right for us. Getting this game is crucial. Chris Middleton is a warrior man whatever they are paying him they are not paying him enough. Forget Giannis I want Chris Middleton.

Great idea for the playoffs. I just hope this does not change the statistical data to encourage Spo to play more small ball during the regular season. It’s one thing if you have a guy like Battier/Winnie/Crowder/Iggie play against a bigger PF in the playoffs. But having an undersized PF start during the entire regular season just wrecks em.

Interesting takeaway from last night was Yanni going 4-12 from the FT line. That tells me he's shook. The same kinda shook he was vs Faps last season, check his FTs in that grinding ECF series and you could see it drop off after the initial front-running:

Gm 1 - 9/12
Gm 2 - 9/12
Gm 3 - 2/7
Gm 4 - 6/10
Gm 5 - 4/9
Gm 6 - 5/10

It fell off a cliff, and my guess as to why is that he became shook

I agree With you totally, which is why having Bam at the rim in help is the key to it. Let’s Iggy/crowder beat him up on the perimeter and Bam picks him up in the post.

If Bam starts on Giannis, you’ll see a lot of possessions end with Crowder under the rim with Giannis like that finger roll last night.

Front-running might just be an important dynamic to bring up regarding this series. The Bucks were legitimately in cruise control all season--winning at an impressive rate and by impressive margins. THey have a finely-tuned machine that does what it does exceedingly well. We're uniquely built to cause that machine to malfunction.

Do the Bucks have the fortitude to dig in when it gets tough or things aren't going according to schedule/plan? Or do they fold? Last season against the Raptors they seemed to fold.

PArt of what I loved about how we played against the Pacers is that it proved our fortitude and grit. THe Pacers kept coming no matter what happened. No lead felt safe and it felt like we needed to be fully locked in and executing all game long for 4 straight games. We did that. If we bring that same intensity against the Bucks and leverage our ability to mess with their fine-tuned machine, I believe we're definitely the more resilient team that can see this through to a series win.
