Some weird stats in Game 2...

Middleton was a +18, Lopez a +12 and Korver a +11 in 10 minutes. Clearly, they're shooters are troubling us. However, they were only 7/25 from downtown, so our 3pt defense was pretty good. we gave up 16 threes in game 1, so a big focus was obviously given to give them tougher looks. Middleton has probably been our toughest cover this series so far - he's hit some tough shots. We need to get more physical with him and make his life a little harder.

We slowed Bledsoe down considerably in the 2nd half. Think he had 14 at the half and finished with 16. Some of that would be rust and lack of match fitness, but it was important for the W.

Will be interesting to see what Milwaukee does to combat our 3pt attack. We know they prefer to protect the paint and give up a lot of threes, but not sure that defensive choice will get the job done vs our 3 for all. We took 45 threes in Game 2, hitting 17. More than half our shots came from downtown. And we still got the dub. Bud strikes me as a stubborn guy who is going to back his team and strategy in, so we have to continue to make them pay.

We did a better job of controlling turnovers in game 2, giving up the ball 10 times down from 16 in game 1.

Giannis had 29/14/3 but it still felt like we controlled him relatively well. Need to continue to take advantage of his aggressive defensive tendencies to get him in foul trouble, and keep moving our feet defensively to draw charges.

their random three point shooting role players have not gone off yet, bracing myself for that. hopefully it doesn't happen concurrently with Middleton/lopez playing well
