Bucks are desperate and can offer him a multi year deal on a winning team. Seems like a great fit since they only have 5 players on their roster.

Wow Bucks added Bogdonovich for peanuts, they are a damn good team now. If they add Gallanari as well, they become the favorites to win the East.

The overreactions from Heat nation on social media and elsewhere are killing me. We have a plan and we’re sticking to it, let other teams overpay for faux stars like Holliday.

Yeah it makes some sense. Would be really depressing to see happen. Only thing holding his decision might be his role on that team unless Milwaukee plan on playing Gallo/Giannis at the SF position and have Bogdanovic off the bench and run with,

Holiday
Middleton/Bogdanovic
Gallinari
Giannis
Lopez

Feel like Gallinari might see a guaranteed starting PF position in Miami with a more balanced offense as something he may prefer.

Miami can't afford to get reckless now, don't make a move for the sake of making a move. Just add to this core without sacrificing big time assets, I think it's time to start looking at guys like Oladipo, Lamarcus and Demar Derozoan, Danillo Gallnari, Demarcus Cousins, adding draft talent to improve the roster.

There are a lot of moves that we can make right now to improve the roster, and still maintain our assets and salary cap flexibility. Don't throw all that away for Harden who will gut our team, or for Beal, when we have a better cost controlled, younger, poor man's Bradley Beal in Herro, (unless we get him for the right price).

If all else fails we can reevaulate in the summer time and make a run for Kawhi, Paul Geroge, and Giannis of course if he does not win again.

Don’t be reckless. Farm is only available for a whale, and if Harden likes Net’s package better then so be it. We just need to focus on getting another defensive guard, getting Bam a backup, and getting a big that can help Bam against big lineups in the playoffs (sorry meyers). Otherwise we should be better on account of our young guys getting better.

Harden has a 2+1 left on his contract and is def getting traded, wonder how that factors into his market value.

Have a feeling that he doesn't go to Nets, or Philly, or Heat

Let’s find a way to get Derozan and LMA without giving up Hero and Robinson.

Butler
DD
Robinson
Hero
Bam
Dragic
LMA
Crowder

That is a great 8 man rotation right there. Surround them with min. vets and ring hungry players and let’s come out swinging. I really don’t care about cap space extending beyond 2021 if we get to keep Herro and Bam while putting together a team that can win the chip’ right now.

Not only do they have more capable shooters now, but they got some dead eye snipers (Middleton/Bogdon) who can shoot the 3 at a high clip above 40%, while also acquiring a legit all-star level point guard in Jrue Holiday who will take the pressure off of both Giannis and Khris. They are a scary team and my early candidates as the favourites in the east.

They are not even close to the scariest team in the east. If our youngins develop as they should, we'd kick them in the nuts this year as well. Jrue and Bogie help, but as long as Giannis is top dog on a team, nothing changes (unless other contenders are derailed by serious injuries).

Come on.

Our young guys can get better but a 25 year old 2-time MVP can’t get better and learn from his personal experiences?

I know we won in 5, but let’s not act like all of the games weren’t close. Each game was decided in the final minutes.

A 60 win team with the league MVP and DPOY just added a perennial all-star to their roster along with one of the best shooters in the game. Yes, they are scary

Jrue is a very good player. But, he has just made 1 all-star game

Time is an asset too, can't waste too many years of what's left of Jimmy's prime. If we run it back and: Dragic doesn't look the same after a bad injury, or Jae doesn't look the same after a prolific season, or Iggy just doesn't age with grace-- we'd be throwing away our greatest asset

Ngl these MIL moves sting me a little. At this point I think we need to assume Giannis is re-signing. Moving on from that I'd like to see us re-sign Gogi + Crowder and acquire Gallo + Dipo + one of their rim protecting teammates (either Turner or Noel) WITHOUT surrendering core assets. Will probably require us to trade #20 for a 2nd rounder so then take Quickley. Not gonna do cap calculations right now but if MIL can make their moves work then Andy will have to figure this chit out lol

Bigs: Bam, Gallo, Turner/Noel
Wings: Yimmy, Dipo, DRob, Crowder
Guards: Herro, Gogi, Quickley

Nice balance of offense/defense at all 3 tiers. LETS GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

The point of having an asset is to trade them for a player like Harden. Its like the Celtics not trading those draft picks

If you don't understand how different each possession looks with Holiday and Bogdanovic out there instead of Bledsoe and Matthews then I don't know what to tell you. Holiday running the pick and roll with Giannis and Lopez instead of Bledsoe and not to mention adding Holiday who's one of the top defensive guards in the league with two Defensive player of the year candidates in Giannis and Lopez. They are going to be better and I'm not sure how much our young guys improving counters that.

If we can somehow add Oladipo and Gallinari while retaining Herro and Robinson then I'd say yeah we can still beat them however.

What if we add Oladipo and Christian Wood instead?

I feel like I'm alone here on CHristian Wood island. But, if his price is reasonable--that is a young emerging talent that fits what we need perfectly and will likely be a very tradeable contract.

Oladipo - Dragic
Butler - Herro
Robinson - Iggy
Wood - KZ
Bam - Wood

Because he played in a stacked western conference and also on a bad team. He’s been a 20 points, 6.5 apg player for the last 3 seasons (2/1 TO ratio).

He’s clearly an all-star caliber point guard.

Beal didn’t make the all star team this past season. Does that mean he’s not an all star caliber player?

Honestly I have never gotten the infatuation with Giannis obviously he is a great player but there is a lot of overlap with Bam who is our second ( and possibly soon) best player.. A team of Bam, Giannis and Butler is heavy on defense but is not very balanced and has not offensive firepower... I think Beal or Harden are much better fits.. we need is someone who can create and score at an elite level especially in the in the playoffs

I think this is right BUT it’s really easy to overstate it. Bam and Giannis would hold back each other’s individual games a little, and would likely need a year to figure out how to play with each other, but together they make the team better just as a factor of overall talent. They also provide resiliency that if one or the other got injured, or whole style of play wouldnt need to change.

Doesn't make him a perennial all-star. Just correcting a mislabel. Like I said, he is a very good player
