Well at least there is a good sign that Nunn is back to being affective.
yeah i want that trend to continue,
lets see if it spills over to the playoffs (if we make it that is)

When Butler returns the Heat could bring back the starting lineup from last year that went 43 and 30
temper your expectations. i expect him to be rusty for a little while

But with a new true All-star version of Bam
most excited about this development but even bad teams have had good emergent stars.so lets see how it plays out. i mean the x factors are spo and nunn because i think that everybody knows what this team can bring right now. the east has gotten more difficult for the heat to wade through (see what i did there) so it will not be easy as last year since we had only to deal with boston and the milwakee cucks

45 games left in the season....unless the heat goes in to a winning spree then it will be hard for them to even reach 40 wins at this point. :o :curse: :argue:

so everybody got it wrong?

I predicted 48-24. We are 17-17 now. Heat must go 31-7 to finish at my guess. I think I would like to see this happen.

48-24 minus 21-18 = 27-6.

Chalm Down - 43 wins
eddieheatfan - 40 wins

=====================================================================

So the average prediction of Heat board collective gives us a win total of 46.55 wins this season. That win total would have been good enough for a 4 seed in the East last season.

So it seems we expect a slight improvement to last year's regular season, and if we're right we'll have home court advantage for the first series and then a tough series in the second round.

I like this thread. It's not often that I can be accused of being overly optimistic.

11) Predict a nice/interesting statistical nugget you can see happening with the team or a player. We lead the NBA in 3pt percentage.

I have a feeling that Avery Bradley will be a disappoint.
I also think that Precious will have very little impact due to the lack of opportunities.

How the **** do you get a prediction in this late and still overbid?

btw 38 wins would most likely be 4th or 5th seed. Remember that it's a short season.

you know i wanted to go even lower with my prediction but then i thought they couldnt be this bad even after a run at the championship this past season. boy i was so wrong, sometimes i wonder if they arent secretly tanking or something since they dont have draft picks left to give
