It's an interesting situation. Atlanta is financially strained, but they risk further strain by getting rid of a young stud who's a big part of their future potential.
Miami would sure look nice with a bucket in the front court. Bam, Collins and Precious is as solid a frontcourt as you can get these days. Doubt Miami would give him the bag though.

I wonder what Butler thinks about his 4th team where he may be the top guy yet the organization prioritizes the youth over him, Chicago rebuilt instead of building around him, Minnesota's owner prioritized Wiggins and Towns over him, Philly prioritized Simmons and Embiid over him and now, instead of adding another top 10 player Miami wants to wait on the young guys while wasting Butler's prime... even after he showed what he did in the finals. It's got to get old at some point, even if he likes the environment.

Main difference here I think is that they made the finals with this group. Also not as if Miami refused to trade their young guys to make Butler happy they just refused to trade all of them all at once.

Only one team wins every year, and he could be in a much worse situation. Either he forces a trade or enjoys competing with our young guys, who he seems to get along with. If he's mad, it doesn't show rn

Harden, Embiid, Doc.....implosion waiting to happen.
The only team Harden cld potentially win a title in is the one who cld discipline him the most.....that's us. He'll mess up every other team's chemistry. Why I ain't scared of him joining a team dumb enough to gut their team for.
