I still don't believe Miami signs Cousins, but if they do, I'll cheer for him. I don't mind being wrong, not at all. I really just want to kick ass and take no prisoners alive. That's all.

As far as Jimmy, what did you expect? He missed significant time, Bam however probably should’ve been there but hopefully it just serves as motivation to dominate. I’m actually glad they didn’t, rest up and spend time with their families.

Kinda glad Jimmy and Bam didn’t make it. Zero risk of Covid at the games for us, plus we get extra time to rest and they will come back hungrier.

Hope Duncan/Herro opt out of 3 pt contest.

Should send Strus

Surprised Bam didn’t make it. Should be added motivation for him.

Happy for LaVine and Randle. Not sure why Vucevic made it over Sabonis but I guess you can't go wrong with either

And I like Zion, seems like a great kid, but not sure he deserves it yet

The 2021 Heat don't deserve any all-stars but hopefully Bam will respond to this similarly to how he responded to Pop cutting him from Team USA

I'd rather they send Vinchit and he gets lost trying to find his way back to Miami

Dick move not to take Jimmy & Bam. Sure they have both missed games but Butler is a decisive force in the games he played. Last week's triple double run means nothing? And Bam maybe has not played to his potential but he's been very, very good. Our team is bad because none of the players we contracted (Bradley & Harkless essentially) have shown up, we've been pillaged by covid (we were 2-8 without Butler during that stretch) and other injuries (Dragic, Bradley, Silva, & Meyers Leonard), and the g-leaguers (Vincent & Strus) have not been very good. Strus, at least, is shooting above league average from beyond the arc, but my main point is that Butler & Bam cannot be expected to carry the team alone.

Zion is a monster and very legitimately an all-star.

Found a link to this stat over on the GB, wide open 3s allowed and opponent %:

https://www.nba.com/stats/teams/opponent-shots-closest-defender/?sort=FG3A&dir=1&Season=2020-21&SeasonType=Regular%20Season&CloseDefDistRange=6%2B%20Feet%20-%20Wide%20Open

We're 6th in wide open 3s allowed at 18.5 and opponents are shooting 38.2% on those (wide open defined as closest defender 6+ feet away). And it's probably even worse adjusted for pace given that we play at the 8th slowest pace in the league

So we aren't just imagining things while watching the games when it seems like we give up way too many open 3s lol

Jimmy didnt earn it IMO, not his fault but missed time is missed time. As for Bam, I thought he was deserving but maybe this will teach him to bring it every night.

He wanted out of Houston because their coach refused to play him with Wood and he didnt want to stay on the bench. If the pitch is come to Miami to run with our second unit, prepare to watch him sign elsewhere.

If he doesn't want to play a backup role here, well so be it.

When they decide to impose their will every night, I'll feel like arguing for them.

Cool. So now when we win the ring this year we can be the first team to do so without any all-stars.

And if we choke and get swept in the first round, no worries, it's not like we have any all-stars to begin with.

This team strives having zero expectations from the surrounding league.

Bam's passiveness isn't a characteristic that translates well to allstar recognition.

He's gotta develop more of an alpha disposition.

The AS recognition will surely be there once he does so.

Similar to Pop picking Plumlee over him
