Goran in that lineup is maybe our best lineup, but just dont know if we're using that in the regular season. Same with starting Bam at the 5, maybe we use Kelly/Meyers in the regular season to spare Bam some wear and tear

You can still limit wear and tear on Bradley even when starting. He started for your Lakers last year.

maybe. I'm surprised you're endorsing such a small lineup panda, you're always advocating for more big guis

I wish we had a bigger player to start at the 4 but need to get better defensively with that unit. We go Kelly Bam second unit and Butler slides back to the 3. This is the best we can do right now without sacrificing Robinson or Herro to the bench.

I agree. Burns undersized players out over the course of a season. It aged Winslow 35 years.

I think we eventually have PA and Bam on the floor together. Should be enough size in today's game. Still need an energy big on the bench if that becomes the case. It isn't Silva.

So continue to start Leonard? Who do you suggest at this point that’s realistic? KO maybe? I like KO in his bench role.

Not many back to the basket ground and pound PF’s these days. Different era. I think Jimmy at the 4 to accommodate getting the extra wing defender like Bradley in the lineup alleviates stress on Butler. He’s also been bad at shooting 3’s so keeping Robinson and Herro on the floor with him and Bam counters that weakness.

If Tatum and KD can hold the fort at the 4, I see no reason why Jimmy can't. It's a lot more appealing and allows more live ball threats on the court. And you still have Bradley at the point of attack defensively freeing up Herro. Way more appealing than having Meyers or Harkless starting.

What is this nonsense you speaking of twix? I said 3 years ago Winslow was gonna get beat up and look what happened to him.

viewtopic.php?t=1551604&start=220#p60119702

The main position of necessity for the Heat right now is PF. Which is where Spo had Winslow start yesterday. I don't know if that's a long term option for Winslow, he may get torn up playing the position like Battier/Deng were. However, he doesn't have the outside shot to play more SF.

I also tried to trade Iggie in that thread.

Thank you Fresh. It opens up a lot of doors for the starting lineup to flourish.

I think Howard Mass can clean slate it and merge it if you ask him.

I never liked the re-signing of Meyers. Dude has been a turkey on the court ever since that ankle injury. He may never recover. Just need some size during the regular season. Not sure why Riley is continuing to go smaller with this team. Though I do like PA as a possible long term.
