There are no easy games for our team. That's been a problem. I mean, we lost to the Hawks the day their coach was fired. When they played a terrible game, we managed to play worse. Sometimes we just don't do offense at all.

I think you have to file Bam's "knee" issues as "vacation" or, if you prefer the more politically correct version, "rest."

Miami probably would have done the same with Butler, but 1) he prob doesn't need it just yet given he missed so many games earlier in the season and 2) Miami can't afford to slip in the standings, and that would be much more likely with both Bam and Butler out.

I wouldn't be surprised if Butler had a sudden bout of "tendenitis" towards the end of the season if Miami is in a comfortable position playoff-wise.

Another thing this does is it opens up minutes for some guys Miami might want to dangle in a trade. Best-case, a team bites; worst-case, the players Miami is developing get a rewarded for their work off the court.
