He's more likely to get himself too amped up and play poorly than to have a really good showing imo. I never really understood the hate he got from fans, not like he was a Dion/Hassan type personality. By all accounts he was well liked in the locker room and was asked to be in a lot of different roles without ever complaining about it. I guess thats fandom for you, hopefully we can keep the win streak going.

I think the vitriol comes from a combination of blowback from the lofty expectations set by Winslow's ardent fans and frustration with the frequency of his poor shooting nights.

The wide open badly missed shots happened too often and his failure to demonstrate a sustained improvement grew tiresome.

Meh, there’s more ways to help a team than just shooting and I thought he did a pretty good at that when healthy.
