Which is kind of funny coz I have been consistently pretty neutral on Nunn. He's probably a bit underrated/underappreciated by us ungrateful Heat fans.

I think he's a fine young player who's earning every single penny on his contract producing 14/3/3 on 46/37/91% :dontknow: what more do you want from a guy? :dontknow:

I'm in.

I cannot understand how Heat fans constantly underrate Nunn. Shameful. Also, from a GM perspective, his cost versus return is one of the best values in the league. Now he's playing defense too. What's not to like (ffs)?

Caught up with game from last night. Seamless transition with Nunn back in starting lineup. Love the way we played last night. Hope to see some Dedmon in for Achuiwa here soon. Belly not being able to handle center spot minutes defensively has put him back on bench.

We got challenging back to back games against two teams with legit bigs (Aytoon and Jokic). Bam could use some help.

Looks like Jamal Murray seriously injured his knee against Golden St. Horrible.

He's doing extremely well for a guy making the minimum.

The issue is his inconsistency, he has huge gaps between games. Very hard to tell what he'll provide on a given day.

Much like Kelly - it's very hard to build a team with a big question mark as a key piece. And Once Nunn makes 10 Mil per instead of the minimum - the inconsistency issues will only get more frustrating and problematic.

To me his big variation come from 3 issues :

1) He's still relatively inexperienced, still learning how to adjust to different NBA coverages. His defensive effort is also up and down.

2) He's not a pure shooter - he can make 3's, but his shot very hot and cold. He can miss open ones badly, can hit some hard ones. So that's a big part of a small guard game - but for him it feels almost random if he hits or misses.

3) His FT rate is terrible. For a quick guard with his type of usage and offensive freedom - the guy never gets to the line. That's a killer because all the great guards up their efficiency dramatically by getting free throws and draining them at a high rate. That's the way to still provide offensive help when your field goals aren't dropping.

Nunn just is very bad at drawing fouls, he either gets blocked, or avoids contact, or settles for outside shots altogether. He has the physical tools to get better with that, and f he could it could take his game to another level.

phoenix scored 81 points in the first 2 quarters against the rockets. We need to come out guns blazing, defend the perimeter and make it defense to offense type game. This win will be huge. We can continue to become a better team by beating these type of teams, so i look for us to come out very focused and ready for the challenge.

Prayers up for Murray for speedy recovery.

I was watching the game. He was laboring down the stretch before the injury happened (I think his other knee with the sleeve was hurting). It's a freak injury, but it's also coaches responsibility to minimize the risk. I thought they failed in that regard though it does not appear to be definitively related.
