I'd invest in Onu, even if he wasn't ready for a couple years. Size and skill package is too much.

Which of these guys will be available at either 33-40 range or go undrafted? those are the only ones we have a chance to get

Onu is being mocked mid 2nd round mostly at this point. He could go anywhere though. I'd take him late first without hesitation, unless character concerns were an issue. I love a good shot blocker. Dude was averaging roughly 5 a game his last two seasons. I really need us to draft a big, who is actually big.

This is why OKC has collected all their draft assets, I expect them to continue trying up till the 1st pick is made. If Detroit isn't 100% sure then they're open to trading down 1, maybe 2 spots to get the guy they want and more assets.

Wow, big decline from DET...I guess they really don't wanna be paying SGA that max extension

Not a bad offer by the Thunder. I couldn't move out of the top 3 if I were Detroit. Any of those three guys are top notch. If OKC had the third pick and SGA, then I'd do that trade.

They have the ammo for it, if they believe Cade is a star they have to overpay, why else get the assets?

Agreed. Go get a top-3 then come back to the table.

OKC going all out for Cade. They want to keep the OKC Cowboy home to sell tickets. Detroit should ask for a little more but SGA and the 6th is a great starting point.

Makes sense. Gut says Pistons want a Top 3-4 pick. They may have to trade up with Cavs to get it. Something like #6 and top 3 prot. FRP and SRP for #3.

If Pistons got #3 and SGA for #1, that's a very solid return.

Hayes
SGA
Bey
Mobley?
Stewart

Otherwise slide Bey to the 4 and put Jalen Green at the 3 if Mobley goes at #2. Either way it's a pretty solid young team, just needs some quality vets to help their growth.

Plus, OKC get their man - hometown/college hero they can build around. I kinda like it for both if I'm honest, but could also understand if DET are just super high on Cade and decide to take him regardless.

Sucks we don't have a pick. Not really expecting any action from us tomorrow, only after the draft once we scoop up some no names for our Summer League team and hope one of them shows something worth a 2-way spot.

I think we have to make a call on Gabe. I don't think he's ready for a permanent roster spot, which makes me think he'd be better off in the G-League team with no 2-way. I don't think any other teams are going to be busting down the door to sign him, and at worst, if we need a guard spot later in the year we can sign him to a 10 day and go from there. He atleast has institutional knowledge that could be useful at some point.

Strus showed enough to warrant a standard contract IMO. That should give us 2 x 2-way's to assess during Summer League. Perhaps Yurtseven is one of those though? Can't recall if he was signed to a standard deal like KNunn was or if he was a 2-way.
