Yes and they would need the Spurs to take on extra money to stay under the hard cap to do it. They can offer Beverly,Zubac, and Kennard with a future pick for DeRozan.

That offer from us is Diarrhea compared to that poo poo platter. KZ is not even an NBA player.

Heat looked at the market and figured they won't even need to guarantee Nunn the 4.7 to get him back, if they even want him.

Let’s sign Melo, that way we get a legit 4 and someone who can score. That way Pat can show off all of his rings and help seal the deal. Lord know our offense at times last season was bad. For the min no one will complain.

BTW... pulling the QO only makes Nunn a FA, Miami still has Bird rights on him if they want they could pay him more then the minimum he may get from other teams.

Something might be up… who is an undersized player that has been rumored to join us in the past that’s still available?

My guess is we’re signing and trading nunn somewhere, I hope?

It’s how much we can spend now while keeping under hard cap to include vet minimums, 3.7, and 2.5. MLE left over.

Damn. I have no idea how we are going to fill this roster. Nunn was the only chip we really had.

If this is correct, Lowry could take less on his deal to have more to try to get DeRozan, but of course he'd probably only do it to get DeRozan. Miami could even add another year to Lowry's deal with the money he gives up as guaranteed as repayment for giving up some now.
