The issue is the way we operated with the over the cap set up is we got hard capped and needed to fill out the roster cheaply. We gave up Precious and Nunn to do that.

To make it work we needed guys to come here for cheap. That isn’t happening. Yea, I get we are less attractive than LAL and GS at the moment, but the way we constructed our roster was that we needed to attract these guys to low deals. We messed up.

IF the Bulls are actually better than us now....its because Jimmy and Bam just aren't good enough.

Its all on Jimmy and Bam.

called it yesterday Panda  Bulls are dumber with the price tag, but in essence, Derozan was a prototypical tease FA that we should not have wasted any time on. I didn't

This is the only way we could get Lowry at the price he wanted though.

Operating over the cap also gave them access to the larger MLE, which they wouldnt have gotten Tucker without.

Im not crying over losing Achuiwa or Nunn. Where we messed up is drafting Achuiwa.

Never got the derozan love, good player but can’t shoot 3s, too expensive and doesn’t fit our team

I honestly think we where never in on DeRozan and five guys made it up because of the obvious connection with Lowry.

If we declined Dragic what would of been our cap room? I don’t profess to be a cap expert by any means.

Not that 90 million dollar contract to a guy who's never averaged more then 13.5 million?

It's quite possible Miami could have given DeRozan the money he wanted and added a shooter like Monk.

Morris, Giles, Cousins still available as front court options. Iguodala and Oubre remain unsigned

Bulls have quite the offensive fire power. Even better if Pat Williams and Coby White take leaps.

Happy for DeRozan he got his bag. And happy we didn't prioritize him over Duncan or Herro

Yes, Duncan needs to get this 3P% closer to the finals year than this past year.

Teams didn't have much film on him his first year, now they do and understand better how to slow him down. Luckily it's only 5 years.

Cant hurt to have an actual PG now to increase the quality of Duncan looks.

We werent fully committed to Derozan because Kyle Lowry doesnt date exes..Kyle Lowry dumped him and has a new best friend that he won a championship with. uncle dennis coming in klutch and taking the MLE.

Couldn't hurt to have an average or above NBA skill other then shooting 3s.
