You are looking at soley 3s. Bam issue is not shooting a 3 instead of a 2. Its taking more open shot attempts in general. Let's look at Chris Webber when he jumped to 24 pts a game he took 20 fga, and 23 fga when he average 27 pts. Bam is still sitting at 12.5 fga a game. Im not asking him to shoot 23 fga, but he needs to be in the 16-18 fga range. He passed up open midrangers that he can easily make. It will not make difference if Bam start taking 2 3 pointers a game but still only averaging 12 shots a game. Brook Lopez in year 9th started taking five 3s per game (up from 0.04 3s per game in previous years) and never looked back. Bam's role isn't as simple as Brick's but he could start taking five 3s per game at 35% and everyone will be happy
That's the only way I see this team not to disappoint gom, Bam's breakthrough year.
