Healthy Dpo > anyone we could have gotten in a trade.

75% of prime Dipo is easily a starter on almost every playoff team. Just hope he feels good. He's got the defense, scoring, shooting, FT getting and experience.
Trying not to get my expectations too high. I just hoping he can be a solid contributor off the bench this year.

I'm not too thrilled by Lowry performance so far. He needs to be better come playoffs. But hopefully a combination of Dipo/Lowry at point can the high level play needed. Heat needs to able to cause problems for the Nets at the point. They have weak defenders at point.

Agreed--with Lowry, it's mostly just a need for his 3 ball to start dropping at a rate consistent with how he's shot since 2010.

Thank god this isn’t just some drug out thing where we’re all wondering where Bam is.

Jimmy will be back and Dipo is coming soon. Time to take that 1st seed!!

Probably a good idea not to bring Bam back tomorrow against Embiid. Bam will take a minute to work off the rust if I had to guess

I told myself I will give him till March and April to get it going on a high level. So I'm being patient

for what though

He can be a nice stretch 4 for us, but are you giving Strus for him? we ain't giving Herro

Love me the Strus Moose, but yeah I’d send him to CHA for PJ. I think he’s going to be a quality stretch 4 in the league for a long time. Unless we had a move for Duncan lined up to acquire a stretch 4.

Lowry / Vincent
Robinson / Herro
Butler / Martin
Tucker / Washington
Adebayo / Yurtseven / Dedmon

Very young second unit, but it does clear up some log jams and balances the roster well.

Like I said the other day guys, it’s going to happen. It’s just a matter of when.

Now the big question is, who will the big 3 be with them? Tatum or Fox or someone were not thinking of?

Man I really want to see If Bam next to Omer can work.

This team suddenly looks TOO deep. Strus and Omer earned their minutes.

It's gonna get crazier with Victor and Morris back.

I think Omer has probably moved ahead of Dedmon on the depth chart. But if he struggles moving back into the second unit, could definitely see Spo trusting the vet.

Bam’s injury was a blessing in disguise though. Hopefully allows him to get 100% healthy, and gave Omer a huge opportunity to fast track his development. He’s come a long way in a month.

I don't envy Spoelstra. He is going to have a difficult job. At this point, I like Duncan, I always defend him, but trade him, Okpala, and Gabe for a decent center. Sign Kyle Guy as a 2 way. That'll open up space for Vic and Max will take Duncans place completely.

You don't open up space for Vic unless Vic has proven he can consistently play at a high level. He has not done so. Of course, if you keep Gabe out of it and replace him with Morris while acquiring a power forward, we can afford to lose both Duncan and Okpala.

PG: Lowry / Oladipo / Vincent
Sg: Strus /Herro
Sf: Butler / Martin
Pf: Tucker / New Guy
Cc: Adabayo / Yurtseven / Dedmon

Just came in here to post this lol and that’s with him getting injured last night. I said it last night, he very well may be our most explosive scorer.

Funny how Duncan gave us a goose egg last night the day before he’s eligible to be traded :o

I agree, but Dipo would need the minutes to be consistent, which would mean sacrificing Gabe anyways and replacing him with Guy (which you wouldn't have to play immediately anyways). Trading for a 5 Like John Collins (purely an example)for instance, instead of a 4 can move Bam to the 4, which is more natural to him.

Lowry/Oladipo
Strus/Herro
Butler/Martin
Bam/Tucker/Markieff
Collins/Yurt/Dedmon

Closing lineup can move Bam the the 5 as needed.

Moving Bam to the 4 and adding a 5 can give a lot of depth in the front court. If the 5 that we add isn't really starting quality, then we can continue with Yurt in the starting lineup and bring that person off the bench.
