Finishing as the 1st seed is going to be pivotal for a run back to the Finals. Brooklyn still has more top end talent, and Milwaukee has Giannis. Home court will matter significantly for our team, so I hope Spo keeps his foot on the gas. We have the easiest remaining schedule among them East elite, so gotta take care of business.

And Lavine is going to miss a couple weeks with a knee injury, Bam coming Monday, Dipo soon after. Now is time to run it up and gain separation. We play the Bulls 2 more times and the Nets 3 I believe so we really do hold all the cards. Take care of business.

I’m hoping the Bulls drop to that 4-5 seed if we end up 1st. Avoid playing both the nets and bucks and don’t have to see either until the ECF.

Bam’s injury was a blessing in disguise though. Hopefully allows him to get 100% healthy, and gave Omer a huge opportunity to fast track his development. He’s come a long way in a month.

I think we should trade Bam Adebayo in exchange for Bradley Beal.

Am I the only one who's not afraid of the Nets?

I just haven't been impressed with what I've seen from them this season. The Bulls game was on a tail-end of a B2B and the Bulls were right there with them for most of the game.

I'd rather Chicago and Milwaukee face each other. My line of thinking is that Chicago stands a better chance against the Bucks.

We need Bam to expand our defensive versatility, Dedmon for rim protection/rim running, and Yurtseven for rebounding. Each offer their own uniqueness that we can utilize based on matchups. There might be some matchups which drop coverage would work, and others where switch/rotate would be more effective. That’s where we need Bam.

he is passing the eye test for sure,

It makes me think the massive defense impact we saw at the start of the season might have not been totally a fluke.

Fully invested playoff Defense might be a hell of an impact this year.

While you might be right, we have to sacrifice something of value to improve.

Bam is better than Beal or right there with him. Also no Bam, no Mitchell

Hopefully after all star break. The Heat will get some playoff quality games. So many games vs bad lineups. A blessing and a curse

Does anyone know what Gabe Vincent did to deserve being benched?

This was Gabe Vincent's last game with significant minutes before he mysteriously lost favor with Spo

Image

This is Duncan Robinson tonight against the Sixers.

Image

Doesn't seem fair that Gabe is being benched while Duncan is allowed to play like that.

And I don't know about you guys, but I definitely would've given Gabe some minutes with the way our guys were struggling. Only Yurtz, Caleb, and Herro were having good scoring games.

size maybe.... who knows,,,,

I would think most of us would point to last night's issue being 3 games in 4 days. Even if you didnt want to close with Gabe using Gabe's fresh legs earlier could have changed that game.

Maybe we lose that game straight up even if everyone was fresh, but it sure didnt look right in the moment.

Spo knows what he has in The Turk (come on guys make that name happen), You can tell a plan has been put in to get the ball to him.

Miami has a weapon in the middle now. Every time Joel went to help on a drive, it left that basket open to be attacked. We have had Bam for years and never really saw the team attack that way before.

I hope Spo mixes up the looks with Bam upon his return. Teams exploit the predictability to find mismatches when we always commit to the switch with Bam.

Bam's ability to switch on anyone is insanely valuable and special, but Bam can still be a difference maker if he sometimes tags and drops to protect the paint. It will also keep our defense less predictable (and thus less exploitable) if we mix in those looks for stretches with Bam. It can also make it more seamless between minutes with Bam and without him.

Philly game was a real bummer, we should've found a way.

Jimmy Duncan and Lowry all suked - but It's only Lowry i'm really worried about.

Jimmy is proven, just a rare off night.
Duncan is up and down, he makes less then an average starter and I don't expect him to preform like a reliable allstar.

But Lowry hasn't been scoring like a 30Mil PG. I'm not expecting much, but 32% from 3 when he doesn't really get to the basket is just not cutting it. I'm worried the decline is coming and you can't have a starting PG that can't score if you want to go far in the playoffs.

Love that Herro's been getting to the line more often lately. The more he does it, the more the refs will call.
