I was disgusted with Duncan's body language yesterday tbh. At least act like a professional if you're going to stink it up like he's done in most games this year

Road vs home splits. We’re 6-1 at home, we haven’t dropped off a cliff it’s just been a rough schedule

We have the 4th best net rating in the league, .1 behind the Suns for third. We’re statically playing at a much higher level than the Nets (who have a better record) the Bulls (who have the same record) and are in a different universe than the Wizards (who are one game back of us).

The season is long and there’ll be a lot of close ones don’t go your way. In the long run our point differential is a much more accurate indicator of where the team is currently at.

It's been said on here that Robinson isnt trade eligible.

Was this confirmed? It reads on Spotrac that he can't be traded until Jan. 15th which is still prior to the deadline

I think its actually Dec 15, but yea...that's correct.

I get the feeling people are putting to much emphasis on the regular season, honestly we don't care about that, its always been about the playoffs. Last year under Butler and Bam we took a hard L in the playoffs. Does adding this version of Lowry really move the needle for us?

True but most of those road games we had in our grasp and just let slip away. It's a frustrating period when games you could and should be winning ultimately matter

I hope you're right and hope we can replicate the early season games once we start hitting the more favorable part of our schedule. Not sure I trust this group just yet with how last seaso went

Damn. Crazy how a large majority of our success rests on the shoulders of a scrub like Duncan till he can be traded next season then..

I'm saying I'm hoping he can be traded before the deadline and what you were told isn't true

My bad I must’ve mistyped. Adam told me he CAN be traded before the deadline

Not sure this is right for this particular season, but it's definitely not Dec 15 because he was resigned with Bird Rights.

For three months or until January 15 of that season (whichever is later) after re-signing a free agent with Larry Bird or Early Bird rights, if the team is over the cap, the player's new salary is above the minimum, and he receives a raise greater than 20%.

Nah it’s my fault dude I read it wrong. If we can trade him we must start looking at offers right away

I agree. The more I look the more I like the Turner idea. Barnes or buddy would be nice too

Not so sure about Turner but I like the Buddy trade. If anything we can start Dedmon and go away from Spo’s smallball

I'm not starting Dem over PJ. Your defense gets worse. If you play big Spo will need to change the defense to less switching to more of a traditional one where you funnel the traffic to the shot blocker. Dedmon isn't an elite shot blocker to make it work. And I doubt he can make enough 3s to make the spacing work on the other end especially with Lowry shooting in the low 30s.

We currently don't have the personnel to play big. If you get Turner who is an elite shot blocker and is an average shooter (around 35 % with 4 attempts last 4 yrs) then you can make it work. Or you have someone like Myers or KO, who are not shot blockers but have size and the other side are great shooters for big men. Then you can do it.

But with who we have now it doesn't make sense. And a lot of people clamouring for a big lineup haven't put a valid reason for one. People just want to go big for the sake of going big. We have rebounded well and our defense has been good.

I think our current issues are on the other side with the offense and the shooting. And going big doesn't fix any of that

Yep a 100 %. I'd like to go for the top seed to avoid facing both Nets and Bucks. Our earlier wins against both were not indicative of what would happen in a playoff series. Both would be strong favorites against Heat if they have a full strength team. I think we can upset one but both would be tough.
I think the no 1 seed for the East is wide open. I wish the Heat would take it seriously and try to go for it. Those two teams are just more talented and you can argue are deeper than then the Heat. We need to get as much as advantage over them as we can.

I’m doing so more Myles Turner digging. If you want big next to Bam you all need to be focusing on having him instead of starting Dedmon.

Averaging 13-8 on 53% from the field. 40% from 3 on 5 attempts is great! He’s in a similar role on Indy as he would here. He’s averaging 3 blocks a game and actually has a goal of being DPOY (hell never win it).

So just this year alone you get a player who is shooting better than Duncan and is worlds better defensively. Bam can roam more and we have more shooting next to him and Jimmy. I think it would make this team a lot better on both sides because let’s face it, Duncan is hurting us on both right now.

Barnes was my top target hit the more I look into it I’m starting to lean to Turner.
