We’re 8-10 over our last 18, I knew we had been mediocre but I didn’t know the sample size was so big now lol. I’d like to apologize to Washington for calling them early seasons flukes, it looks ironic now.
Herro going to mess around and be ineligible to win 6MOY with Jimmy missing so much time lol

Lets get ready to rumble, and nowwww... make some noise for your Miami Heat
starting at center, PJ tuckerrrrr... as your pointguard Dewayne Dedmond, and as your small forward at 6'7" Mr. 90 million dollar man Duncan Brick Robinson. Coming of the bench streaky Tyler and our surprise of the season Gabe vincentttttt..... and last but not least directing all this clusterfack Erikkkkkk Spoelstraaaaa.....
We got this boy.

Look at the team we have tonight then just remind yourself we’ll be adding Bam Butler Dipo and Myles Turner to it in 6 weeks

Tbf tho we’ve gone 1-4 in our last 5 once the injuries started which makes it look a lot worse. 13-7 through the Bulls game was looking nice considering our schedule.
We’re still 4th seed right now, I still believe we have enough easy games to close out the year to keep us playing around .500 ball until Jimmy and/or Bam reruns in January.

Believe it or not we do have an easier 10 game stretch coming up here soon

It was evident about a month ago that things were about to change. People kept saying things like, "It's one game" or "We're 2nd in the East" and "You're overreacting," but we knew that's completely ignoring the context of the wins and losses. Injuries certainly don't help but, even when healthy, we were still losing games we should've been winning or dropping huge leads.
Our early season success was predicated on breakaways and fastbreak points. That doesn't work in the long term because teams will adjust and focus on getting back on defense, which they did. Now we gotta work our halfcourt sets and we're finding out that we just don't have enough shooting, which is troubling because our offense has been perimeter-oriented and there's no plans on changing that. It also doesn't help that the one healthy guy who elevates our defense only checks in when we're down by 20pts.

We lost some very bad games, those almost always come back to bite you in some way

Yup, a lot of winnable games.
With that said, I'll be happy with a lower seed if we're playing a lot better when the playoffs roll around.
And there's still plenty of time to turn things around to grab top 3 seed.
But it doesn't look like we're making any changes at this point, so who knows.

I’m the opposite, I’ll be watching with no stress because I know it’s a fat L. Once it turns into a 20 point snooze fest or it’s halftime (whichever one comes last) then I’ll probably do something else with my time
