Why does Indy want to move Sabonis?

They probably need to move one of the two, and Sabonis will bring back the best return. They can then lock in Fox/Duarte/Turner as three future starters and spend the rest of the time to the deadline shuffling the roster & prepping to tank.
In reality, this season has shown them they’re further from competing than they thought. With a dip out of the PO under a new coach (they seem to be committed to) they can use this time to retool and rebuild in a way that will be more successful.

Wouldn't move Sabonis. He's their best player, and a better player than Fox in my opinion. Turner isn't nearly as good as he's pumped up to be. Feel like Indy needs to build around Sabonis. Raise his jersey. They can't underappreciate his value.

What? You can't do that from the sidelines.

I kinda feel bad for Russ. He's gonna get the slack for Lakers debacle when he's 10 % of the problem. 90 % of their problems is that they are old and can't defend. They're like Jazz without Gobert but slower. They can't stay infront of anyone and can't protect the rim. Reason the trade sucked because they traded away all their best defenders and filled the roster with old washed up guys.
You definitely can't win with Russ. But if they had a decent supporting cast they would be a top 4 seed. Issue is with their FO and letting Klucth dictate their roster construction. Russ ain't great but he does unfairly get used as a scapegoat. Just like in OKC, they didn't win because they traded away Harden and somehow it was Russ fault.

Lonzo Ball out 6 to 8 weeks. The 1 seed is ours to take and keep.

it didn't look intentional but clearly his defensive instincts took over when he had his hand out lol
he got away with just $10,000 fine. easily cost Wiz the game. punishing an assistant coach isn't going to solve the problem NBA needs to revise a system where they can go back and review unnatural plays like this (that rarely happens anyways).

If Embiid didn't get hurt, it would Jokic and Embiid one and two for MVP. With the way things are stacking this year it might happen. Durant is out of the race. Curry has been crap for two months. Giannis & Bucks have been underwhelming. If Denver and Sixers can get to 4th seed, then one of them should win considering their circumstances.

No idea who that assistant coach was. Was it one of the names from the tweet?

oops it's David Vanterpool apparently. I was curious who that was so I looked him up. He was a former NBA player (played for Wiz for 22 games smh) but spent most of his basketball career overseas. he did a solid to the only NBA team that gave him a chance lol
