I still feel we'll trade our pick but we should buy into the second round. A couple players who won't be drafted from the just defeated TCU team really impressed me: Miles Jr & Lampkin. They missed some plays (like not boxing out and not protecting the basket on an inbound) but man huge efforts, getting on the floor and mixing it up. This Lapkin has enormous confidence. Maybe he doesn't make the NBA but he deserves a chance. Get him to SXF somehow.

I remember 11-30 with these guys. ^

Hardy's been mocked at the end of the draft on a lot of boards, we gotta make a play if that ends up working out

He was projected top five before he hit the G League. His performance might make some rethink that route

Does he feel a bit Dennis Smith Jrish to you? That's the vibe I'm getting. Not the same player , but the hype vs outcome.

Scratch Notae off our draft board. His stock is soaring too high for us to have a chance now.
1. Herro 2. Bol Bol 3. Seko 4. Bruno
unless we trade up for Barrett or trade down for PJ Washington

When I saw this stat I had to think this sounds like a Heat player!

We need to find a 2 way big wing that can play PF/SF/SG, defend and hit 3's.

Duncan and Strus can't defend, Martin is 200 pounds low volume shooter.

For being 6’9 255, yea he can.

Averaged 1.5 Blocks and 1.9 steals per game without getting in foul trouble often.

Only issue is he can’t shoot outside 15-18 feet, so he may not be a fit outside of being able to be a backup 5 in Spo Ball(which will be a need if we move Yurt)

I had heard about him a couple years back. One of thendraft board fellas loved him. Didn't pay attention to him at all this year. Checked his stats last night and he's an absolute monster producer. Outside of shooting, his advanced stats are legendary. IIRC, his o rating/d rating disparity was something like 45 points. That's nuts.

Well this comment about Strus aged poorly

Mark Williams and Walker Kessler have caught my interest. Super productive in college. I think I like Kessler a bit more. He projected to have 9 stocks per 40 minutes. Crazy stuff.

In the comments the creator suggested best team fit as the Heat, lol.

I'm down for drafting this guy somewhere and reaping the rewards a few years down the road. Great movement skills and body control for a big. 7 foot tall with a 7'8" wingspan.
