This guy fits perfectly with the Heat btw. Defensively and offensively. Might be my preferred choice atm.

Well, looking at our roster, we could use a Duncan replacement. He's unplayable when his offense isn't clicking, and it's been too sporadic this year to be counted on.

We could definitely use this guys size as a perimeter defender. He looked real good on that side from the video. Would have to watch some games to get a better picture.

I really think we have to replace Dedmon and Duncan. If we could get Koloko and maybe this guy, then we would be looking pretty good.

I'm interested in Chandler at PG too. We need a true floor general for the future.

3 things I look for these days -

1. Quick feet - guy is switchable AF at 6'9

2. bb IQ - kid seems to know how to play

3. Outside shot - A MUST next to Bam\Jimmy. Jabari Walker shot 79% FT and from looks smooth.

Definitely significant aspects for any Heat candidates profile.

I was just listening to an interview of Jabari's and he seems like a smart kid. With his defensive skillset and his intelligence, I think he fits. He should be able to acclimate to our system fairly quickly. Maybe expect a rotational guy after a couple learning seasons.

His percentages look good. Especially for a guy who is going to be a role player. Should be able to benefit from the opportunities others afford him.

As the draft gets closer and looking deeper into the mocks, this draft seems VERY interchangeable in the 15-45 range.

Most experts have the top 4 tier - Chet, Jabari Smith,Banchero, Ivey.

Then you the highish upside guys untill around #15-#17.

Then it's goes into total madness, guys droping and rising based on half guesses.

There's a good chance to draft a guy at #27 who should have went in the late lotto this year, I hope we're scouting hard and giving private workouts to the Jabari Walker's of this draft. Steals can be had this year, even in the 30's-40's.

We need to find the shooting big that is the equivalent of the Maxy/Bane of years past. Both were Late first round prospects that became key contributors on good teams within 2 years.

I wouldn't mind grabbing two guys this year. Keep drafting and developing guys.

Think Duncan could fetch a 1st rounder from a team who has space.

Draft lotto tonight?

Bets on who is jumping into the top 4?

Will the Cavs do it again?

Will OKC get the 4th pick and then be forced to trade their late 1sts/2nd rounders treasure trove to try and move to 1st?

just rooting for Western teams to pick 1-4, Don't want the headache of facing the top 4 freaks for the next decade

History shows that the top four will probably be hit and miss. This year's top 4 doesn't look too freaky. Maybe Gonzaga boy, because of the freaky looking stature. Won't be long before many top tenners are being called busts.

I look forward to OKC getting the 4th pick, then attempting to trade from their other lotto pick, number 12, to number 1 with all their mediocre stash of picks.

I haven't been paying attention in recent years, but why are the prospects on hand, dressed to the nines, for the lottery......this isn't the draft?

Would probably take Jabari Smith. Chet scares me with that crazy frame.

Jabari with his shot and length is an improved handle from being new KD, very high upside if can work on his creating.

Chet is just a mystery, I can't even project what kind of a player this kid can be in 2-3 years. Anything from MVP candidate to bust is possible.

I really want us to find a legit 2 way 6'7-6'8 wing to develop, the Dorian Finney-Smith's of the world are becoming so needed in playoffs basketball.

I'm down with the other Jabari.

Even though he’s on the smallish side for a PG, I’m a fan of Kennedy Chandler out of Tennessee. Good prospect and a dawg of a player. Fits the culture.

I agree. Looks like a solid role player a couple years down the road. Lord knows we need someone who can run an offense.
