Heat ran out of gas last night. Especially in the 4th quarter. Plus bad shooting vs.good shooting.
This should be a solid bounce back game. Heat will flex some muscle. We got this DoM!

Very annoying loss last night but win this and we’re likely the 1st seed by the end of the night

I heard Lowry is out vs Raptors on Monday for personal reasons (via Bleacher Report). Hopefully Bam plays at least. Maybe Gabe and Guy can play well too. I’m not too worried since the team is very deep

Yeah, Lowry and Jimmy will probably never have the kind of shooting night like they had against the Sixers, at least not in the same game.
My confidence in our team* wasn't wavered by that loss. We should've lost by a lot more with the way we were playing, but we actually had a ~10pt lead and kept it close until the very end.
My confidence in our coach remains unchanged. That's not a good thing, if it needs to be said.
* it should be noted that's said with Yurtz in mind. With Bam back, the whole situation needs to be re-assessed and we were only 10-8 with him in the starting lineup. Clearly the more talented player, but we need to start winning games with him and have a good stretch.

Didn't watch last game, but as long as no one got hurt-- it's the very least we can get from that OP

I can’t really complain about Coach Spo. He definitely knows more about basketball and player development then I ever will. He has been regarded by the rest of the NBA as one of the top coaches for many years now. I can imagine it could be a lot worse.

I mean, you don't have to be a basketball genius to find flaws.
For example, he would've never played Yurtz if not for injuries.
Quite a few of us were advocating for Yurtz to play as early as November and for Spo to ditch his small ball philosophy. Some people took Spo's side and said that Yurtz isn't a good player if Spo wasn't playing him.

And it's not like we were winning games before Yurtz. We were about a 6th seed back then and had multiple blowout losses.
For reference, we were 10-8 (.555) with Bam. As of today, a winning % of .555 would put us 7th in the East. But because of injuries, we were able to climb back as high as 1 GB for 1st place and we're now 3rd in the East.
To be fair, he's not the worst coach, but he makes some mistakes that cost us games and possibly a lot more, as in the case of Yurtz.
FWIW, the best I've ever seen Spo is when he wasn't coaching like he normally does.
and player development
Just to be clear: assistant coaches are the ones who work on player development. It's evident from the rare practice footage that gets shared, but Spo has also passed the praise on to the assistant coaches when this topic is brought up.

Yeah, Yurt is one of my favorite players on the Heat. I hope he continues to improve, and he has already shown that he deserves to play. I'm sure there was a reason why he wasn't playing as much early on. The coaches and team have more info about it than we do for sure. Usually, players like this make a big impact when it's their time to step up like after another player's injury. I've seen it a number of times in multiple sports.
It's good to give credit to the whole coaching staff and organization. The head coach usually gets either too much credit
or too much blame.
