I was good with Miami letting him walk but the issue may have been, without resigning him Miami wouldn't have a sizable contract to move in a consolidation trade this summer.

Surprise they didn't go with Dipo and Vincent backcourt with Herro at 3. Instead they kept Lowry in. I think Gabe as a stretch guard will give a lot of room for Dipo to work the paint.

I mean if Dipo can get 28 MPG he was on track tonight for 22-2-8 with good defense and drawing charges. I’m very impressed. I figured something along these lines would be his averages once he got settled in.

That said, he could really struggle next game. Just gotta take it day by day until he’s comfortable and the rust is off
