Game 76 / Heat vs Kings - The beginning of the end? // 3/28 / 7:30pm
Bum and Butt team up for another round of dung.
Don't miss the losing ways of this not White Hot mess!
Watch Yurt sit on the pine as we all wonder why?
Watch Butler score in single digits.
Save us Kyle Guy, save us Kelly Olynick, save us Sammy Sucker!

Re: Game 76 - Heat vs Kings - The beginning of the end?
Here's a question for everyone: do you think there will be lineup changes or rotation changes? Or no changes at all?
Personally, I don't know how Spo doesn't make changes after we've dropped 4 games in a row, but he's been known to prove me wrong on that before.
One lineup I wouldn't mind seeing is a Bam/Dedmon front court, especially in the starting lineup. This way, we're not so susceptible to getting hammered on the glass when we inevitably switch on defense. I figure this way, at least Bam or Dedmon will be near the rim instead of out on the perimeter while our guards are left to fend the paint and box out.

I don't think there will be any major changes. Hopefully Vincent comes back and Caleb can get more minutes. The bench is dead.

The safe bet because a lot of our losses are usually blamed on lack of effort, which means that everything's fine and guys just have to play harder.

Yea, that's the MO with this regime. I'd personally reset to what worked. I would have never benched Yurt, id have him coming in for Bam and bring a change of pace. Lowry played well with him.

That's probably the biggest thing with why Yurtz is successful.
We think/know he can't switch, so we play drop coverage, instead. As a result, our guys aren't scrambling around and out of position, teams end up taking more jumpshots, and he's in better position to rebound.

Yea and it always helps to have multiple dimensions to a team, play different styles, catch teams off guard, etc. Also, the vets can save their energy for the clutch with more halfcourt tranquility and shooters can get set. Everything that was working as we took the 1st seed.

Yeah, we're a predictable team. Like, I'm pretty sure for the longest time ever that our first few plays of the game were to get Duncan Robinson a 3pter. We've switched that up the past two games, but it's been like that since Bam got back from injury.harlem_ball wrote:somerandomdude wrote:harlem_ball wrote:

It would be nice for us to switch things up.

I mean, i can understand trying to get Duncan going early, if he's hot the game is usually ours but yea being predictable can get uninspiring.
