Looks like especially Herro and Butler balled out! And just when I was ready to give up on Robinson looks like he had a nice game!

It would be amazing if he turned it on just in time for the playoffs. Would help us in so so many ways, both for the run and in the offseason.

Herro had 5 TOVs tonight so I went back to see what's up.

1. Great defense by PJ Washington to not telegraph his hands. However, I think Cody Martin had to go through Bam's hand to knock to the ball away, which should've been a foul. If not, that was an excellent play by Cody. EDIT: it looked like Bam turned to the ref looking for a call.
2. Straight up foul, Herro should've been shooting FTs. The worst part is that the ref was right there watching it all go down. The Heat need to start defending their players before it costs them.
3. Just a low IQ play to force a screen that wasn't there. The thing that sticks out to me is that Herro should've had an easy bucket against IT, but couldn't take advantage of the mismatch in the post, which is disappointing. I think he was anticipating the Hornets to come in and help and didn't know what to do when the Hornets decided to let IT guard him.
4. Bad pass, I think Herro may have anticipated faster movement from Caleb. If LaMelo Ball wasn't there, I think Caleb would've had the right idea, but LaMelo could've picked off the pass where Caleb wanted it.
5. Trying to make a homerun play with two guys surrounding him. Yurtz looked like had a chance at the ball, but had to contort his body. If possible, I think he needed to dive for the ball there.

Yes...his comment about it was nothing special it's just who I am told me he's feeling confident and he needs a chance over the last few games to follow up on that strong performance. Bummer for sure it doesn't look like he'll get it.

I wouldn’t put much into the turnovers from Herro. He doesn’t average many and has the highest usage on the team. Just a little off in that area the last 2, I doubt it stays like that.

This board is infected. The Miami Heat are the 1 seed and hitting a stride entering the playoffs and every single attempt to discuss the team turns into an argument as to whether or not our coach sucks and whether or not the 12th man should actually be the 9th man. Often times, these 2 arguments are conflated into one.

It's baffling. But, I guess it's part of modern NBA fandom with many fans being more player-focused than team-focused with support. Strange stuff

And again, I don’t get this management. Victor is Worlds better than Vincent all things considered. If he had an outstanding game, why not continue to see where it takes it. But no, as always, if you’re not in the fave list, you are behind the pre arranged player regardless of play.
