Lopez is back and they'll have to dig deep to get boards over those trees. Plus our shooters need to show up. Gotta get past the Nets first too, right?

I hope we do play the bucks.. we are 1-1 with them in play offs last 2 seasons.. definitely need a 3rd series in a row.. won’t feel right if we don’t get to play them.. we will get labelled again that “lucky we didn’t get to play bucks” blah blah…

nets have a chip on their shoulder against them from last season. The ultimate outcome would be that the bucks beat the nets and we beat the bucks. Then the nets can’t brag, they lost to them 2 seasons in a row. We go 1 up on the bucks. Otherwise Nets winning and leaving both us and the nets 1-1 feels like unfinished business..

In saying all that do I think we can beat them? If we play small probably not. If we shoot well from 3 we could win it. Going to be hard to contain all giannis lopez and Portis with size.

The Bucks are the team i worry the most, rebounding and limiting 2nd chance points will be crucial

Have to hope we avoid them and the Celtics. Like our chances against Philly and Brooklyn much more

We have the shooters to exploit their defense.....should we face them, we need to hit our open shots (it's as simple as that) & Bam needs to be a much bigger factor. Rebounding & second chance points is where our problems could lie.

We're better rested this time & have a stronger roster to boot. Last season PO's we had:

Ariza :o
Bjelica :-?
Iguodala :(
Okpala
Achiuwa
Dragic :noway:

W/ respect we got rid of those dead weight & upgraded w/:

Lowry
PJ
Morris
Martin
& the emergence of Strus, Vincent & Yurts on top.

We're deeper, better & more shooters (best 3pt shooting team in the league) & better/improved defence. Furthermore Herro has taken a significant leap that can help shoulder the offence even more. You're damn str8 we have enough. If we face Bucks it'll be revenge spot. I'm sure we'd like to wipe that bad taste of sweep out our mouths.
If u don't want 2b here, the way things work, u don't like it, then don't b here. U have 2 stand on something. If Miami ain't standing on something, they become alot of these organizations trying 2 find their identity. This is the culture, bro -Wade

we should be fine. They have the size advantage and also are more clutch than us. We have enough shooting to match them. We also have the better defenders and home court and a way better bench. Coaching will be a big factor. Would love to see more size in that matchup and praying we dont see Martin covering Giannis.

We'll worry about the Bucks if and when we face them.

The East is wide open and a lot of chit can happen, it's far for certain we meet them at any point.

If we do, I think they're the hardest match up in the East, but if we play our best we can beat them.

Hopefully we make it to ECF and they don't.

If we make it to the ECF I’m expecting to see them. Let’s do it!

I still don’t know what happened to Jimmy in that series last year. Obviously that can’t happen again if we get the chance to face them again.

Bucks bring a lot of challenges, biggest and most obvious one being rebounding.

Bucks are literally going to do the same thing and expect the same result, They will lock him down, and wall off the paint. Jimmy and Bam will be out Offensively.

We would need Lowry, Tyler, PJ, Duncan, Struss, Gabe, Caleb, Dipo to hit 3 ball and or break the defense down.

We don't have any speedy slashers to break down the opposing defenses, so we need creative back doors action, screening, and pick and rolls with shooters off the roll to get us buckets.

The previous playoffs, they wall us out, and we couldn't get rhythm or hit jumper to save our lives. They also clamped down Herro and forced him to dribble excessively.

Difference this year, we have more shooting, and Lowry to help us run some sets hopefully getting Bam & Jimmy open looks. Although that would be the series that both Bam & Jimmy would need to seriously defer.

Against the bucks this season:

Bam - 19-12.5-3 57% shooting

Jimmy - 21-4-6 on 60% one game and then 6-3-2 on 14% the next (we still should’ve won)

Jimmy went from one extreme to another. He’s gotta be locked in at all time for that series if we want to win. Same for Bam, if he can replicate his regular season numbers we “should” be looking good against them

It was the same thing during the previous season last time too, we didn't think we would have issues, but the Bucks had a game plan and executed to perfection. Milwaukee will play somewhat different in the Playoffs versus how they played us in the regular season. There's no way this is the same bucks team we will meet in the playoffs.

Same can he said for us. They beat us once easily and we beat them easily the time before. Only time will tell

What happened to Jimmy Butler last season was PJ Tucker. He's on our side now. It's going to be different.

Did you not see an exhausted Butler in the bubble the season prior only to not receive much rest during offseason & str8 back into the next season. That's what happened to Jimmy. Entire team was gassed.

And he wasn't hitting them, unlike the bubble his was hitting them jump shots and making teams pay.

Return to Miami Heat
