Proper Heat Demonym

I’m new here but this has racked my brain for some time. Same with the Jazz and Magic but I never cared much for those franchises enough to ask. Who names a franchise after an inanimate object anyway. I’m gonna start a little league basketball team and call them them South Atlanta Thoughfulness.

What is the proper demonym for a Heat player? I’m sure I’ve heard Spo, Pat, and players say “member of the Heat” or just simply “a Heat.” I can’t lol.

Shouldn’t they be “Heaters?” Or how about “Heatians.” Picture PJ saying “I wanna retire a Wick.” Or Jimmy saying “once an Oven, always an Oven”.

There isn’t a special name.

Shaq coined both Heatians and Heatles as a joke. Sometimes people call the Big 3 the Heatles though.

The reason there is no demonym for Heat players like, for example, a Hawk, is that Heat isn't a noun like sugar. It's a verb. Like "Tyler Herro is Heating Up," which might meean that he's hitting a bunch of threes or poking the oppoent in the eye, depending on how you see things.
