Nah Dedmon isn’t it. Guy seems to be getting worse by the game. This playoffs has exposed just how thin we are at center

I get he doesn't look smooth like Herro but he is usually very effective in his minutes.

Constant offensive fouling and nonstop boneheaded decisions. I have very little confidence in him going forward. All that said it’s pretty sad that he may be a better option than Bam at this point now that Joel is back

Bam has his strengths against MOST centers in the league, Embiid is one where he doesn't but the bigger issue is he refuses to even consider attacking him without being FORCED to.

Bam isn't a legit offensive option, he's a finisher and a good one at that, but you can't just go to him as an offensive option and the sooner everyone figures that out(including Lowry) the better. Bam just doesn't have an offensive mindset which is fine, it is what it is.

Did you take into consideration embiid didn’t play first 2 games

This was about as bad as it could be and Miami was in position to have stole this game. Miami should be in the ECF in 2-3 games.

Based on the Atlanta series we look like an ECF team. Based on this game with Embiid back we look like a team ready for Cancun.

If embiid didn’t play would our shooting be this bad?

Too many open misses and shots we would normally make to put it all on Embid. Let's say we make 45% of what we missed tonight, we still take the game. I said credit their defense, but a lot of that was us just missing and playing flat. Everything was short from the beginning

He probably actually could. Lol

Embiid wouldn’t punk him like he punked Bam…that’s for sure

I try hard to like Bam but he never really did anything to prove that he's here and that he’s arrived as a star. I can’t ever envision him being the next Heat great with such a limited offensive skill set and soft mindset. Solid role player and not much more until proven otherwise

Can we finally put a stop to the "Bam experiment"? HE IS NOT A CENTER! He is a very athletic PF who is a great defender but is very limited offensively. At this point, it is clear that we are not a championship contender with Bam playing as a center and even worse, with PJ Tucker as at the 4. The smallball expirements simply does not work to win a ring.

Folks, the parallels are disconcerting.

Compare this post from the 2018 Game 3 thread to this post from 2022 Game 3.

And compare this post from 2018 to this post from 2022.

WTF :o

The 7-0 run to begin the 3rd followed by the 7-0 run to start the 4th is ultimately what did us in.

If Danny Green doesn't hit 6 threes next game and a few of our guys (Strus, Lowry, PJ, Oladipo) can make a couple more open ones, we might just be able to steal it.

Yeah Bam was horrendous offensively. However, his defense is still impeccable. He'll be better in game 4.

If Lowry is hurt and can't do chit - don't play him..
and Bam for chrissakes grow a pair .. Get physical with the big baby Embiid and he'll cower..

Raptor fan here. Word of advice/caution.

Coming.off any type of absense almost regardless of how short or long, lowry historically gets out of rhythm and takes a while to get going again. But it comes.

Tho thats even if he isnt affected at all by any injury upon returning....which who knows if hes 100% from the hammy. Thats a whole nother thing in and of itself.

My point is even if 100% healthy it'll take a game or 2 upon returning to find his rhythm again. Hes a rhythm player. Lets hope the hamstring is ok tho.

Maxey is annoying af. I'd like to see him receive a cheap shot.

You are the only person on planet earth who thinks he's annoying. You must be a real SOB. Everybody loves the kid, for good reason too.
