Mike Muscala is now available which would be a nice short term backup stretch 4.

If they are only looking for a win now player for Collins with a first, does Duncan, Yurt plus a future 1st get it done?

I like the thought but he feels like more of a five in Spo's system. I don't think he has the defensive mobility to guard the more common hybrid forwards being used now.

He'd be about the same defensively as Gallo which Miami seems to be interested in. While I saw him play in Philly, he seemed to do a solid job, but they moved him in the Harris trade.

Man imagine if the Hawks now pulled off Collins and Capela for Gobert? Their offseason shift would be massive.

Sacramento has the best win now player to offer that fits what Atlanta is doing (Barnes) and the money works in a straight up swap. It's going to be hard to pull this off if the Kings are indeed interested.

They want a win now player, not a stuck to the bench player. In the playoffs when we where dead tired Spo played him one minute at the end of the game. That is not a win now player

When I watched Muscala play he never seemed as coordinated as Gallo to me. And I think Muscala has a bit more weight and height than Gallo which makes it easier for him to match up with true bigs. But neither of them are much to speak of on the defensive end. I almost prefer sticking with a young'un in that spot to develop. Maybe one of our summer leaguers or poaching Bol Bol to be an end of bench big for this coming season.

Bol Bol would be really interesting to see what the Heat conditioning crew could do with him.

Fair wishful thinking on my part and hoping that Dunc has someone that values the pure shooting and no other asset.

I'm not saying he's as good, he's a vet minimum guy, a guy like Gallo would cost more.

Oh I am not disagreeing with you boss, keeping an eye on low cost options could be very important for the Heat if they execute a sign and trade.

If John Collins and his agent start to make some noise that he wants Miami a 3 team deal could work where Atlanta gets Barnes and we send Duncan and draft compensation to Sacramento
