Alright boys update via phone call this morning, were back on our regularly scheduled insider info.

There have been zero communication with Portland's team in regards to Lillard's availability over this weekend. Miami did reach out last week sometime prior to free agency and there were some hard No's, additionally Portland has made zero effort put any feelers out there if they were interested. All the current rumblings are all speculation at this point.

Utah and Miami have not spoken to each other since Thursday night of last week. Miami has a strong package for Spida however Utah has gone cold for a while, Miami reached out this morning and the conversation was done with a cold shoulder as if they are moving forward to build around him as speculated. Miami does feel that nothing else can be done on that front unless he asked out of the situation which is already common knowledge around the media.

Brooklyn has reached back out to all the teams who sent out proposals, based on the information received, Miami remains one of the top 2 candidates for Durant. However Brooklyn did have a chance to talk to both Durant and Kirie over the weekend, they are much more calm and level headed moving forward. They will be taking things slower, and still feel they have not received the package to make things happen. They feel like getting Bam should definitely be on the table, also talking to my boy he said Miami did in fact have avenues for getting Bam to Brooklyn but the problem is Ben Simmons, finding a third team to take him on has been a big problem. The third team is asking for future first rounds picks minimum of 2 or 3 depending on the team to take on Simmons from Brooklyn. The problem here is that this would limit Miami's ability to send picks to Brooklyn in this trade because Brooklyn is not going to pony up any picks in this circumstance and expects the receiving team taking Durant to due all the sweeteners in whatever the third team is asking for. This is why Phoenix continues to be a contender for Durant, they have enough picks and they can offload Ayton to another team without losing picks, the problem for them is that nobody wants a max out Ayton as he may not move the needle for most teams that aren't pick and roll centric.

Miami is all in on the madness and feel they can swag Durant this offseason, they just need to stay aggressive. If Spida becomes available they will pull offer on Brooklyn and move towards that package instead as its not as steep to get.

However the Heat higher execs are bought into this and if they miss out for whatever reason they are very confident in internal growth from all the younger guys on the team, they are also excited for Dipo's new look this year. They feel like they should be able to pick up a PF from the buyout market this year without problems. Either plan looks good to them.

Not much to report. We are definitely still in this and one of the top teams considered for KD. Front office refusing to give up Bam as of now. We submitted our final offer. The Kyrie to Lakers thing has been Kyrie driven and we can get him for cheap. We have some free agents we've spoken to but they're on hold right now. Angie is playing hardball with Donovan.

He'll also add some more stuff in there that big media heads have already said or rumors we've seen already and either twist them a little or back peddle if they go against what he previously reported from his source.

Either way he'll continue to not break 1 single thing correctly after what's been a week or 2. At least it's entertaining. In the end he'll blame it on his source saying he can't believe he got those things wrong.
