So if Jovic is going down to the g league for some work he’s healthy, he’s just behind Haslem in the rotation lol

I 100% want Jovic to be given the reps in-game to get better. Every time a vet talks about they’re basically

So why is he not playing in meaningful games?

Highsmith has been allowed to play through and is getting 19mpg. Strangely, we’re 1-6 in games where he has a negative +/-, and 5-2 in games where he’s non-negative.

I'm generally fine with rookie going to the Gleague, but I just don't Jovic is the type that would benifit from that.

GLeague is useful for guys that lack the BB IQ, that can't handle the game speed, decision making, or guys that need a lot of on-ball reps to go wild and score inefficiently.

Honestly I think Jovic can proc sees the NBA just fine, he knows where to be and what to do. He just needs reps next to good players, gain confidence and benefit from playing next to guys that compliment his game like Bam and Jimmy.

He's not the type to score 30 against Gleague scrubs, that's not his game.

Top heavy talent on roster have parallels to Miami Dolphins this season;

Tyreek Hill - Jimmy Butler
Tua Tagovailoa - Bam Adebayo
Terron Armstead - Kyle Lowry
Jaylen Waddle - Tyler Herro

Ric Bucher says we’re willing to trade Lowry.

And this is the tone and angle you take that always minimizes your credibility. You have good points and valid arguments from time to time that are so often minimized by these antics. How you say things are as important as what you are saying.

Is Bam shutting them up…. or is he actually proving them right? The reality is that most said that Bam was under performing on offense, which he was, and that he needed to take that next step offensively, which he finally has. This recent trend just supports all of our frustrations the last few seasons, revealing what we all argued he is capable of but was not delivering on. As a max player, he needed to give us this type of production on both ends.

You are celebrating prematurely though, as the second half of the season and into the playoffs is where he needs to show he can do this with consistency. I am withholding judgement, as any sane person should, until he produces on that end when it matters most, and again, on a consistent basis.

I couldn’t care less.

He’s doing both but shutting the vast majority up. when it’s nonstop people knocking his skill and ability to score and he’s scoring on a plethora of moves he’s proving them wrong. When someone like kobewade says Bam could be top 10 if he scored more, now he’s proving him right but there’s a FAR greater number of people out here saying “bam has no moves” “Bam can’t shoot” etc. and it’s not even close.

He was doing exactly what he was asked to do.

How about, " I thought about it, but I really believe in this organization and our fans. I decided to come back and give it another go..."

That's better then, I would have left...but nobody wanted me......

And no one else is willing to take him. Folks around the league were probably thinking ole Riles was senile when he paid a retirement age point $30 mil per.

I don't know why we force ourselves into a corner with these crazy deals for players the rest of the league wasn't going to pay.

TJ
Whiteside
JJ
Duncan
Dion
Lowry
Etc
