I’ll go ahead and eat this L for the board so someone else has the chance to prosper when Bam comes back.
I’ll say it’s pretty fitting to this season to wake up to the news Bam is out. Finally get hyped up for game day after a 2 day break and then find out we have to battle Gobert Reid etc. with no bam. Potentially no Jimmy so what’s the point lol. We know Jimmy likes to duck the wolves since he came here so I doubt he plays.
Nice little nugget, Miami has the 2nd most games missed to injury in the league. For a team with terrible roster construction and a terrible bench that’s impossible to overcome, especially when your best player is one of the guys missing the most time.
Season is a s*** show, there were 3 times I thought we were finally about to break through. Suns win followed a Jimmy injury and 4 game losing streak. Celtics win followed with arguably the 3 most embarrassing losses of the season. 4 game road trip banner for Bish followed by 2 straight emabrassing Ls at home, potentially 4 and that’s with 2 days of rest and prep before each game.
Only a plethora of trades can fix this team, pick a direction. Fix the team or tank, one or the other and the fans wills support it but we don’t support this middle of the pack stuff we’re doing right now.
But for a positive perspective we’re the 2nd most dominant organization since 2006 and only 2nd because KD wanted to ruin the league for a few seasons and join a 73-9 team. It could always be worse.
In the words of the greatest player in league history Dwyane Wade prior to every game of the 2013 NBA Finals, “WE FIGHT, WE FIGHT, WE FIGHT, LETS GOOOO!!!!!”
