Big game for those of you who still keep up with the standings and think we have a chance of moving up. If we don’t win both games against the Knicks we have 0 chance of passing them.

Will the Knicks continue to own us this season in the same way the Bulls have? We’ll find out soon.

Only 2 games this week with tons of rest in between on our home court. If this team is finally serious about trying to put together a decent run these 2 wins are a must.

3 of the next 4 are against the teams right in front of us. We have to win them all or we're stuck in 7th place. It's hard to see us getting anything going though. We're 7-7 since the all star break, so this is probably who we are.

I'm as confident about this game as I am about Spo's hairline.

Yea I agree. We’re destined for the play in. Our scrub role players aren’t just going to magically turn in on 72 games into the season and decide to finally help

Bam really had a tough 4 or 5 games and we had people using that mini slump to say Jimmys had no help this season

Bam has one elite game against the Knicks where Jimmy didn’t show up and Vice versa, let’s hope they both eat this game or we don’t have a chance. Efficient Tyler and Lowry games are also welcomed

Anyway, I guess since this awful, Jimmy and a bunch of Titos team refuses to die and just get a lottery pick, I guess we should all be rooting for the Cavs to win tonight.

Looks like your efforts are paying off, Cavs up by 21 in the 3Q.

OK, then.

Miami’s oldest and fiercest rivalry is with the NY Knicks. We have a historic regular-season record of 64-68. Knicks have won the last 3 games and the last two in Miami.
We are 15-14 in postseason. We have won 2 of our 5 series: 1997 & 2012. We lost in 1998, 1999, & 2000. The Heat led the 1998 & 2000 series until the end. These were some of our most bitterly-fought games.
Miami’s longest streak was 8 games. New York had a 10-game winning streak that ended in 1993.

"Fortunately for these guys they are both awful fighters..."

Done. Now if we can just beat the Knicks we will climb into the 6th seed. :onfire:

Let's hope they don't lay a stinker like they seemingly do after every win

Hopefully, last game was the stinker! :-)

Actually we're a half-game apart from the Nets, so even if we win tomorrow, they are still ahead. They hold the tie-breaker on us, because they lead our series, 2-0, and we can't tie that up with only one more match. We need to have a better record than the Nets.

On the other hand, we still have a chance to tie the Knicks season series, but obviously we have to win the last two games with them.

(1) Head-to-head won-lost percentage
(2) Division leader wins tie from team not leading a division
(3) Division won-lost percentage for teams in the same division
(4) Conference won-lost percentage
(5) W-L Percentage vs. Playoff teams, own conference
(6) W-L Percentage vs. Playoff teams, other conference
(7) Net Points, all games

Boston still plays the Kings tonight!
