yeah... ok, dream mode then? Fine.

If the Lakers or Warriors win the west and the Heat win the East (as they should in my dreams), then the Heat have HCA in the series and can get Pat the ring he wants so he can walk out of the arena with Chris arm-in-arm like he says he wanted to do in the interview a long time ago.

"Life, right now, is really good," Riley said. "And if I were to leave tomorrow, there's not going to be a blip on the radar screen here. None. That's what I'm most proud of."

It's only right if UD's last ever season ends with a ring.

Dream mode?

Bam morphs into a Pippen and the crew is so efficient they 91 Bulls and defeat caBron in the finals. Jokic will probably beat LeBron tho lol

My nightmare is the league pushing for a bubble 2.0 finals to help Lebron prove it was legit by winning his 5th ring at our expense. That would be so disgusting.

Hadnt thought about this until I just saw it but the craziest part about this magical run is Bams doing it without a single all star teammate. What an elite run

The way this group has flipped the entire script is just flat out impressive. The late additions of Love and Zeller has paid dividends, providing the beef up front that we needed to give Jimmy and Bam, for an opportunity at a real run. Been fun to watch.

Always try to win, don't tank, even if you don't make it out of the first round you can find out who are playoff players and who aren't.

The only issue is that their FO worked on making the Laker roster strong as possible for LeBron and AD, Miami's FO didn't do anything but got a gift in Love forcing his way out. Who knows what would have happened last playoffs had the FO added a solid PF behind Tucker just in case.... which they needed. Had this FO really went all in after being gifted Butler in 2019 it's quite possible after this season Miami could have had 1 if not 2 championships with Butler and Bam the 2 top players.

Talk about a gift. They were gifted role players for Westbrooks expiring

Lakers doesnt scare me if we meet them in the finals somehow. I honesty think if we get past Boston we are winning the chip which would be the best cinderella story ever.

Westbrook is a 40 mil expiring contract, that clearly had value. One front office went out of its way to correct its mistake, one front office doubled down in trying to be cheap. If our front office had just a fraction of belief the way some of us do with Butler and Bam they would have clearly made other moves. Actions speak louder than words.

They tried to make other moves and didnt have the assets for their targets. So they held serve and picked up a couple of guys on the buyout market, who btw have helped the team. They had a greater belief in their guys than most of you and so far they look to be right.

They could have went a more expensive route trading for the Indiana guys, they would have been better but more expensive in assets, they waited for the best offer and pulled the trigger. You act like this is the first offseason after making the finals with Butler having some incredible games. They did nothing but let the roster get worse last off-season after going 7 games in the ECF.

This is why I keep saying, fixing a roster spot or 2 can make a huge difference in the playoffs but this FO has been sitting on their hands in hopes of getting a superstar. Miami is close... I just don't get it, they're about to make the ECF for the 3rd time in 4 seasons.

No thats inexcusable. If the front office thinks it has something special in Butler and Bam, you move heaven and earth to get them better players. If the front office doesnt think Butler and Bam are special then they do nothing and wait for a buy out. At the end of the day it will be a ring or bust with this team this year.

I get supporting this FO up till 2015, they did an incredible job but since then it's been middle of the road for this team except for not paying Wade where he went to Miami and sold Butler on Miami's no tank environment. Butler was a gift to a franchise that he committed in his first 5 minutes of the meeting, he was sold by Wade before the meeting. You can try to lie to yourself that the FO has really tried to build around Butler, but they haven't and probably threw away 1-2 championships (after these playoffs) because of it.
