If he continues to accept and play well in this off the bench role…I’m not so sure I trade his expiring just for the heck of it.
I think Duncan has made himself tradable, so unless Lowry helps you get a game changer, I’d trade Duncan for other parts and ride Lowry. If THE deal comes up at the deadline, take it. If not let him expire and see if he comes back on the cheap or let him walk.

Re: Let’s talk about Lowry…
His expiring will likely be used to acquire a star but if not I wouldn’t be mad at keeping him. Could also be sent for multiple high level role players. If we swing for the fences and land Lillard just let Gabe walk or tell him he’s 3rd strong. Bring in Dragic or Pat Bev
I’ve been very hard and Lowry and even love but these playoffs have been a reminder to me that you just can’t teach championship experience (even though Love was pretty non existent this round).
I’ll stop placing so much on the regular season and just remember this entire team is built for the playoffs, although I’d rather not be skating by in the play in tourney to make it lol. If we can make it easier on ourselves we need to do it.
Imagine Lowry backing Lillard up though, that’d be huge for the playoffs.

Re: Let’s talk about Lowry…
The year ends on a surprising high note so we decide to bring back the same group of scrappy losers and let them have another run at it. I feel like I've watched this movie before.
Lowry will be 38 by the time the postseason rolls around next year. He's not going to get better or healthier or get in better shape. Today is as good as he will ever be again. Ability and availability will only decline. MOVE HIM!
Duncan isn't a useful player unless we go back to the Duncan Robinson offense. The one where everyone stops what they are doing and spend half the shot clock trying to get him a clean look so he can take his 10 shots ... and average 13 ppg. The dude is Jason Kapono. If we can find someone dumb enough to take him off our hands without us having to take back an even worse contract ... MOVE HIM!
I can't imagine that anyone will want Dipo as anything other than trade filler. Regardless, if we can include him in a trade to even out salaries and aren't required to throw in another asset ... MOVE HIM!
Love ... DO NOT RE-SIGN unless he willing to sign for the vet minimum and play off the bench if at all. I don't think he'd accept that role and be happy with it.
Strus ... DO NOT RE-SIGN unless it's for Caleb Martin money. I don't see that happening.
Vincent ... DO NOT RE-SIGN. He's just some rando. He can easily be replaced by some other rando that has no business starting in the NBA.
Give this entire squad one of Derek Jeter's going away baskets.

I agree with everything except Kyle. He will be traded at the deadline if things don’t work out anyway.

Re: Let’s talk about Lowry…
this is simply not the time
If u don't want 2b here, the way things work, u don't like it, then don't b here. U have 2 stand on something. If Miami ain't standing on something, they become alot of these organizations trying 2 find their identity. This is the culture, bro -Wade

Strus is good. We need to keep him, but yes, for Caleb money.
