I hope so, that seems like our best option.

That’s a terrible idea. Highsmith at the 4 and Bam at the 5 means we get killed on the boards.

Turnovers , rebounding, and getting them off the 3 is key.

Love has been playing like what 8-12 min a game. The rest of the time no one bigger than Highsmith has been next to Bam. Spo even been playing 2 PG lineups regularly. We don't have a proper 4, no use in pretending.

Posted this on the betting site prior to gm

Marc Davis: 5-6 Road team
David Guthrie: 6-4 Home team
Bill Kennedy: 6-4 Home team
= 17-14 Home team

Guthrie/Kennedy ref'd gm1 BOS/ATL. BOS won @home
Guthrie/Kennedy ref'd gm4 DEN/MIN. MIN won @home
Guthrie/Kennedy ref'd gm5 LAL/MEM. MEM won @home
Guthrie/Kennedy ref'd gm6 SAC/GSW. SAC won on road
Guthrie/Kennedy ref'd gm3 PHX/LAC. PHX won on road
Guthrie/Kennedy ref'd gm gm5 PHX/DEN. DEN won on road
Guthrie/Kennedy ref'd gm3 GSW/LAL. LAL won @home
= home 4 - road 3
= 7 of these games 5 were BLOW OUT wins

Everything seems to point to Boston winning this game & by blowout. Not a good sign for Miami here.

So after gm5 Add: Guthrie/Kennedy ref'd gm5 BOS/MIA. BOS won @home by BLOWOUT

Take the stats for what they are but that's now 6 HOME wins & 6 BLOWOUTS when Guthrie & Kennedy ref together. 22PF's total for this game, the average foul count for the NBA is 48PF's p/game. As mentioned Just 9PF's for Boston tonight. 19-10FT's. 9FT disparity in a 13pt win.

Yes they shot lights out, yes we played terrible but it was made worse than what it really was. We shot 51.3% from the field, they shot 50.6%. We shot 39.1% frm 3, they shot 41%. Stats aren't too far off. We shot something like 70% in the 3Q yet we were still losing by double digits?!A lot of physicality towards our players that were uncalled all game as result we had 16TO's to their 9TO.

Guthrie/Kennedy's games have mostly been below the average fouls per game this PO's. This is by the their lowest foul count in the PO's - this is due to the fact Boston were shooting lights out & did not need to be called fouls for & so to even it out they also didn't call much on Heat either.....what they did tho was swallow whistles when we got fouled. The Guthrie/Kennedy tandem are the only refs that have worked together for over 3 games these PO's. 8 in a single playoff year is huge. Their specialty was in play.

Again take this w/ agrain of salt. This ain't my 1st rodeo. I've been making wagers during PO's based off ref stats and have hit 80%+. I've predicted few games in here. We may have still lost this game but it was made to look worse than it was. Even though both teams sat their starters it was still only a 13pt win in the end. It shld had been at the very least 20+

Not being negative. I think the heat are done, seems like they’ve run out of gas and Boston can sustain better play for longer.

Is that a real quote from that coach?? That can't be real. Real classless if it is! Remind me of Kobe bringing up Shaq to the cops when they were investigating the rape allegations. smh

It's probably not even a real quote.

heat were overachieving, the last thing we needed is to give them life

boston was completely defeated after game 3. they couldnt hit shots.

and then we come out in game 4 and jimmy was missing wide open layups under the basket.

i just dont understand.

Another L, they are alive and kicking.

Nice metrics on the spams by Highsmith.
Lowry ineffective.
Bam and Butler with low metrics.

Going to have to get serious, these are dead metrics.

Spoiler:
and just say that this game is his fault. Then Bam needs to go in and do the same. I don’t care as much about the loss as I do about the effort and lack of urgency. Jimmy was out there like it was the preseason, not even looking at the basket. It was so bad that poor Duncan had to be our best playmaker. Bam will now be known as Bamthony. My man is as clumsy and offensively inefficient (at times) as Joel Anthony
.

Winning 3 in a row is extremely hard when you're down 0-3. Boston shot really well from deep the past few games. Our guys shot really poorly. We made really bad defensive mistakes. Will all of this happen again for a 3rd time on Saturday? Unlikely.

Jimmy and Bam have more hands on experience with how they will be defended going into game 6. Spo has more footage to work with and create schemes. I like our chances. Games and momentum don't carry over. Every game is a brand new game.
