The team now just one win away from clinching the second official piece of silverware in Club history.
The Herons reached the final of the cup by defeating Miami FC on penalties on the road in the Third Round, knocking out Charleston Battery in the Round of 32 and Nashville SC in the Round of 16 in home games at DRV PNK Stadium, winning against Birmingham Legion FC in the quarterfinals, and, lastly, winning on the road in a thriller against FC Cincinnati in semifinals,
Team Leaders in Open Cup Play
Inter Miami attackers have been in charge of leading the team to the final in the competition. The team’s top scorers have been Campana, with his brace against Cincinnati, and Nicolás Stefanelli, who bagged the winners in the matchups against Nashville and Birrmingham Legion, with two goals apiece. Distribution-wise, Messi and winger Corentin Jean lead the way with two assists each.
Inter Miami Form Leading Up to the Final

Open Cup Champions on Our Roster
Inter Miami currently has three former Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup winners on its roster in defender DeAndre Yedlin, who won it in 2014 with Seattle Sounders FC, midfielder Victor Ulloa, who helped FC Dallas clinch the title in 2016, and forward Josef Martínez, who won it in 2019 with Atlanta United.

I’m sad but relieved at the same time
I think if we can get holiday and keep herro and all our role players we can still compete for it all with playoff jimmy
But dame would have been sweet here, oh well

We could care less of losing Max but Gabe gave us that toughness and stability in that PG role.
I thought most of you guys didnt want to have another Duncan? At least thats what I remember the fan perception being of retaining Strus/Gabe
11 mil a year is totally far from another "Duncan"
I was reading different on this board. Let him walk, stop resigning g-leaguers to multi year deals, these are real quotes that im reading fwiw.

Don't be sad that it's over. Be happy that it happened. Except it didn't happen. It was all in your head.

Bucks basically paid a 2029 FRP + Grayson Allen to upgrade from Jrue to Dame. That's a really good deal for them.
Portland couldn't even get the Bucks best prospect Beauchamp in the trade.

Entering his prime … his ceiling is Jusuf Nurkic.. ayton is a terrible defensive player and not that good offensively.
Jrue holiday has two years 72 million remaining, a horrible contract. And he has said hes retiring once its gone.
Miami had a lot more assets to offer, everything that could have been sent to Portland may potentially be totaled to 6 first rounders once they trade off jovic, herro, etc
