I feel like we should've seen it coming at this point.

This should be a great opportunity for Rozier to show his teammates he can be a scorer they can lean on.

This is what Miami's been doing for the years I've been watching. I think the team uses nursing injuries (which players have all the time) to allow other players to get more minutes or a different role because Spoelstra wants to see how players handle the role/combinations. When Spoelstra said at the beginning of the season that they're much deeper this year I expected to see a lot of "injuries" that the team deems needing to be held out.

I think as an organization that doesn't have an MVP level talent, Miami has decided to learn/play around with the rotation and players to find out more about the players on the roster and how they will rise or decline in different roles. Of course, there are regular injuries that take people out but I truly believe Miami goes "cautious" with bumps and bruises to allow other players to get minutes and this team would rather be in the play-in and know more about their players than possibly get a 6th or 5th seed and not know what they have.

Next year will be the first year since Butler's been in Miami that there's a really big shakeup of the roster with internal and external changes. Now that the FO and coaching staff know what they have in Jovic and Jaiquez Jr, they will calculate to a greater degree how this team is constructed and how it plays next season and moving forward. Even with Butler possibly in decline, Miami is in a good place moving forward to not take a step back, they can continue moving forward and hopefully find another high-level player for the playoffs, for example maybe KD becomes available if they flounder in Phoenix during the playoffs?

Alright so a physical game ala Pistons.
Ok I see the refs, now let’s be consistent, the non call on Rozier creates questions.

The offense looks kind of flat. Highsmith at the 4 to start... not sure
