Jimmy’s status is looking bleak, but let’s get everyone else out there and not suck!

This might be the game where we need to start Delon Wright. Ideal rotation (if Jimmy doesn't play)

Starter/Bench
PG - Delon Wright / Tyler Herro
SG - Tyler Herro / Caleb Martin
SF - Jaime Jaquez Jr. / Caleb Martin
PF - Nikola Jovic / Haywood Highsmith
C - Bam Adebayo / Kevin Love

Coby White will be a tough cover for us either way, but I trust Wright's ball handling on offense much more than I do Herro & Bam at this point.

So hear me out -

If we win the game - we'll get swept by a healthy Celtics team while half of our roster is broken.

If we lose this game - we might jump from picking at #15 to picking #11 at the draft.

You rooting for a W?

Nah. Remember Mickey wants that playoff money. Also that gives our players not named Bam a chance to step up. Maybe we win a random game. Maybe another Boston player gets injured etc. Maybe Herro finally gets a good game etc.

4 agonizing embarrassing games against the Bucks AND getting a **** pick?

A win here will be nothing less then catastrophic.

In your defense a lot of us had this mindset (myself included as you can see from that OP) initially until closer to game time when we couldn’t root for our team to lose, and the rest as they say is history :)

There's no one else in the league who's better suited to slow down Giannis Antetokounmpo than Bam Edrice Adebayo. The Heat will have to play big and start Kevin Love at the 5 to match Lopez. Hayward Highrise can really contribute here also.

Jimmy Butler can make life absolutely miserable for Kris Middleton. You can throw Caleb on him too.

Between Kyle Lowry and Victor Oladipo, if they step up, we can really make life difficult for Jrue Holiday.

Win tonight against the Bulls, win either of the first 2 in Milwaukee, and it's anyone's series.

I believe.

Need this again!

Can you explain how we get #11?

I think if we lose, we would be tied at 46-36 with GSW for #13th and that is a coin flip, so we could be #13th or #14th, if we are #13th and GSW wins the lotto some how, we'd be pushed down to #14, and isn't it the first 3 picks that get picked based on odds, so we could be #1, #2, #3, #13 or #14, but I don't think #11.

Edit: Sort of ignore me, forgot about the Bulls winning in that scenario meaning we would be #12 or #13 because Pelicans or Sacramento would be in the mix. Pelicans would be a guaranteed #14 if they miss, Sacramento, Miami and Warriors would be tied for #12 with coin flips to decide if Sac loses, so the scenarios are #1, #2, #3, #12, #13 or #14.

Still don't think #11 is on the cards?

Honestly not sure if a couple draft spots matters in this draft, it seems quite flat. Nbadraft.net has Nikola Topic #14, tankathon has him #1, whereas Nbadraft.net has Cody Williams #2, tankathon has him #9. I guess the counter argument is that an adept drafting team like Miami could pull the best player in the draft given the flatness, and the higher up they are, the better the chance.

Anyway, Heat gonna Heat, just along for the ride. They aren't going to lose on purpose so it is a moot point.

Butler 99% not playing and may be out for a while.

I dont know what will hurt more getting booted now or swept by the Celtics.

Either way im gonna watch and root for them to win.
