Post#1 » by RexBoyWonder » Thu Jun 27, 2024 1:44 am

A legit 7'1, with a 7'5 wingpan, that can really move and jump....soft touch...shoots 3's........

Might have gotten a steal...

We got maybe the most rare player and skillset in this draft

A legit 7'0, huge wingspan, ATHLTHIC, soft touch, can hit 3's......

If he pans out....that's a game changer......

You can see the tools and talent......

1) Legit Huge
2) Legit athletic
3) legit skilled

Those guys are **** RARE.

We worked him out, so his mental must be good.

This kid can be top 3 in a re-draft after he showes he's not a headcase...the talent was never the issue.......

You could say i'm 'Ware'-y of this pick.

I'll see myself out.

From what little I have gathered and seen on him so far it looks like he has the potential to be or at least do some of everything we've been looking for out of a Center to play with Bam. He has legit Center size and is a lob threat. Can play out of the post, shoot the 3, and even defend the rim and block shots. I'm really happy with the pick from what I've seen of him so far.

Things that are clear about Ware:

1) He's a giant--7' with 7'4.5 wingspan
2) He's an elite athlete for his size
3) He has great shooting touch and scoring ability

Things that were unclear about Ware:

1) If he has the physicality for the NBA
2) If he has effort & attitude issues (rumors)
3) If he has the bbiq to be great

Ware's upside is top 5 in this class. The Heat were able to do their full investigation and work him out and interview him. If all indications from that due diligence are positive indicators regarding the unclear parts of Ware's profile, then this is a huge addition. I trust Miami has learned enough from the Beasleys and Whitesides.

Ware is not the prospect I expected or was championing because the uncertain items were concernign and I had no way of getting better info on that front. Assuming and expecting that the Heat were able to get clarity or comfort on the unclear items, this is a HOME RUN!

Let's get this guy in the weight room and training under Miami's developmental program and let's build up the best frontcourt rotation in the NBA

Damn...seeing these players birthdays makes me feel old. This guy was born the year I graduated highschool . I'm glad we got another young gun to develop with Jovic in the frontcourt for a long time to come!

not just good, but ELITE tools,

Not only good Touch, but ALREADY USED TO SHOOTING 3's,

You can't expect a better prospect at #15, he can become the steal of the draft with the right development.

I like the long term potential of a Jovic, Bam and Ware trio. Size, skill and switchable across all positions if jovic keeps growing and Ware pans out.

Ware/Bam front court is like....top 3 biggest in the NBA?!

Spo needs to make them work togther.

Who is shooting the three ball though? One of them needs to be hitting multiple threes at a high clip to open the floor up.

Don't forget Jovic. He's still got a lot of potential for us, too. We can do a lot with all this size.

Ware shot 43% (on low volume) at age 20.

Bam been talking about shooting 3's for years.

It's time.

Bam shot 48% over the last 2 months of the season on nearly 2 attempts I believe. Time to increase the volume for both

would. be sick if they could play themself to the point we have to run them as a trio....we would have great size.

Would be ideal for sure....imagine if four of our starting five in the mid to long term future are: JJJ, jovic, Bam and Ware. Just need a legit distributor and floor general to make it all work.
