What better way to gain some early season steam than beating the "contender" Knicks?

I can see our pieces starting to figure out their roles. We've just got to start seeing some consistent shooting.

Let's go for 3 in a row and show what we can really do when we get it going.

Hope Bam gives KAT the biz and we get on track there. We’ve been unconvincing but 2-1 ain’t bad.

This is a good test. Knicks are struggling at the moment with the new team. We need a win here. Bam has to own KAT

Bam will likely not get the usage to dominate KAT as he’s seeing the lowest usage of his career as a starter early on this season. For whatever reason after a summer of growth development and winning a gold medal while being a key piece to that team and highest scorer multiple games he’s been neutered and relegated to the 4th option again like post trade deadline last year. A little surprising after the way things looked in the preseason.

As for the Knicks, their bench is awful outside of 1 player so we’ll see how it goes. Brunson plays an absolutely disgusting brand of basketball very similar to Embiid. Not sure I can watch as that nonsense just drives me crazy, it’s almost like he’s the industry plant for Adam Silvers Knicks lol. Just disgusting.

Turn off JavaScript, the MS Edge browser allows you to add sites to block javascript on.

Herro Rozier and Jovic need to hit their shots.

Unless Butler or Bam goes and get the ball, it's the guards who basically decide if they shoot or have to kick it out. Butler doesn't like to go get the ball in regular season games because it takes so much work to create his offense, and Bam just isn't like that.

This is the first time in the Miami Butler era I have zero faith in this roster having any chance to go deep in the playoffs and highly doubt this team will get past the 1st round if they make the playoffs. Herro and Rozier's 39 points from 36 shots isn't good, that's like 108 points per 100 shots, you'd expect to get much more efficient scoring with your 3pt shooters getting that many shots.

If Spo goes back to running Jovic at point, and even if he doesnt. He has to start hitting his threes. That is the only real problem with his slow start. He has to stretch the court so Bam and Butler have room to operate in the paint.

Yeah, hes shooting 31% from 3 so far. Need him closer to 41%.

For anyone having issues like mine I downloaded this app unowen mentioned above and activated it, took like 2 minutes and it’s completely erased every issue I was having

Bam high usage just equals Bam more fadeaway or contested over the top middies. He just isn't someone who creates high quality shots, until that chages, the lower his usage the better it is for the whole team.

His TS has gone down every season and it's absolutely awful for a front court player who is supposed to create dunks or high quality looks at the rim.

That’s as simple as tinkering his shot diet, the same one he showed in preseason.

%48 of his points came in the paint, 4% from midrange, 15% from the free throw (this would’ve likely improved in the regular season) 33% came from 3. That is a pretty solid split as I want 8 attempts at the rim at minimum, 5 from 3, and 2-3 in mid range when necessary.

TS% drop or not he’s still been our 2nd most efficient high usage scorer and that likely isn’t changing, tinkering the shot diet would get him back up in the 60TS% range.
