The past two games Duncan Robison 16.5 pts, 41.2 3p%, 48.1 Fg%, 4.5 rbs, 4.0 ast and 1.5 steals, +8.5

I always view Duncan as the two with Highsmith and Butler handling the 3/4 spots. Bam/Ware and Jovic handled the bulk of the front court minutes. Duncan has played well non the less. Maybe he’ll get another 5 yr 90 mil deal at this rate.

As is often the case, I believe there are a mix of assignments at play split between offense and defense. Highsmith is very often guarding the opponent's lead guards or primary perimeter initiator. Defensively, Duncan often ends up on slower footed players--the least dynamic perimeter player.

Duncan is a solid player and fits within this system like a glove. My issue has always been the contract and inconsistency. With that said I don’t think Riley would ever dump him or trade him unless his hand was forced by Arison to alleviate the tax. Next year will be very interesting if Butler is still here and Rozier and Duncan are still on the books. Currently 6 million into the apron and repeater tax approaching next year.

Looks like Bam had some choice words for Jimmy here after that one leg up and 10 seconds on the clock.

A Fox/Herro backcourt isn’t a case of 2 offense only guards that need to be covered for by everyone else, Fox can defend and guard his position straight up

I think we are at a point that Jimmy’s antics are going to get worse and worse, the unhappier he becomes. It’s time to move on. Jimmy’s star candle burns bright, sometimes too bright, but history has shown that on every team he’s been on, it will always flame out.

Heat fans don’t like Bam and the team sucks so they like to pretend he’s a bitch but he’s the captain and vocal leader of the team for a reason. In terms of players the only ones that I would say have ever gotten on to Jimmy for something would be Bam, UD, PJ, Crowder for sure and then maybe Iggy, I would assume Lowry, and Dragic.

The issue I think is teams are not really going to give up much for him due to the uncertainty and especially from teams that have to pay him.

That’s typical regular season Jimmy though so I don’t think anyone should be reading into that, we’ve seen him shoot 3s off 1 plenty of times and I also don’t think anyone should read into the exchange, he probably just told him to stop fuxking around so they can get a W

Yeah IDK, that's why I'm not so keen and sold on trading Duncan at the moment. The gravity that he provides, and the spacing as well with his DHO game with Bam is vital to our team. There's not too many 6'8 sharp shooters, that can drive and take it to the cup around the league.

I'm cool with keeping him for now bearing a trade where we can get a vital piece in return by exchanging him.

Should just trade Jimmy to the Wizards or some bottom feeder so that he finds out the hard way during the offseason that no team can afford to pay him $30-35 mil per for 2 years and most likely, won't be a contender.

After watching tonight action my comment from 15 games ago remains true. We ass.

The sooner we get to Herro, X, Jovic, Bam, and Ware the better. Just over this mostly bad sometimes nice basketball we have to play because Jimmy and Bam can't actually co-exist.

I keep seeing people griping about Herro but he's looked good. His handle looks really tight and the added shiftiness of him varying his speed and step size while probing is a nice development. The Blazers are sooooo dumb.

Well that’s about enough Jimmy Butler for me boys

Congrats to him. What a legacy he’s leaving behind as a malcontent me guy. He had a chance to re write that here in Miami, but he’s right back to what he was everywhere else along the way. I’ve never been more embarrassed to be a Heat fan, with this type of stuff going on and him being on the floor. Full stop it’s got to go. I don’t care if he’s traded or not just get him away from the team.

This is unacceptable in so many ways treating the Heat like some poverty franchise, when you were the one who wanted to come here for a culture and standard that was bigger than you. All for him to throw a fit like a child the first time he’s asked to prove something. Pat threw down a challenge and a pathway for Jimmy to get what he wanted. Playing like a top 10 player in the league that gets the money he wants and is currently getting was just too big of an ask from Pat Riley to give.

You know where would Pat Riley be without the great Jimmy Butler? What would his legacy be without a first round win against the Bucks in 2023? Would his 9 championship rings be enough to give him credibility and respect?

I get it Jimmy has been our guys here for a minute we rocked with him, but the notion that he has carried this team to the extent it’s portrayed is ridiculous. First finals run he had Bam, Herro, Goran, Iggy, Crowder, Robinson, and KO a STELLER SUPPORTING CAST that showed up big and carried water. In the next run he an arguably better roster including gems like Vincent, Strus, and Martin who largely carried through the Knicks and Celtics series, that the front office everybody loves to talk down out went out and found and developed. I’m over it all. Get rid of this guy make it clear why we are doing and watch this team start to play much better.

Last thing outside of Jimmy is stop trying to sell me on Bam being some sort of culture keeper or the guy to fill the shoes of UD and Zo. He doesn’t have the balls to check Butler, nobody on the team does. The one guy who I could actually see having that type of approach on this team is eventually Ware

I don't think many here actually don't like Bam. We just like trolling you
