Mia has options. They may not be great ones but they do exist, none the less.

Memphis’ poop platter of Clarke, Smart, other fillers and a pick ain’t better than what Mia can get from those other options

So I would say Mia does have leverage to insist on a desperate Memphis team, who never gets free agents to sign with them, to include their 2nd round rookie in exchange for one the greatest playoff performers that the league has to offer.

Pat should make a take it leave it offer that involves Wells in the deal and find out if they flinch. If not, move on to GS, Mil, or even Phoenix for their picks

Want ≠ has to. And Ware for Fox is subtraction by addition, we go right back to having a problem that we just solved.

Feels like it’s going to be Memphis. We've had a lot of big trades with them, like the Posey/Williams deal and the Iggy/Crowder trade.

It might be like, "We'll get back to you if nothing better comes along"

Bucks or Grizzlies seem like the two teams. Don’t think Grizz go with it unless Bernie and Butler call them saying he’s motivated to help win a chip. Butler is a very mercurial gamble for the Grizz and have to be careful the effect he could have in that lockerroom after he’s already thrown shade on them in the media by saying no to Memphis. That’s a good young team with solid chemistry.
