I wonder if Riley is going to dunk his head into a bucket of ice water for this one.

Hawks looked terrible vs size against the Magic. We need Bam to hit his mid range shots this game and for Tyler to not regress too badly.

Just touching his hand briefly to Rozier's forehead should achieve the same effect!

Kind of good either way on this one.
Win and we win--nuff said. But also get more opportunity to compete and give this younger group valuable playoff experience. Miami's 2025 FRP would then convey to OKC and Miami would have clear rights to their 2026 FRP and the FRP owed to Charlotte would remain 2027 protected (which would become 2028 unprotected if not conveyed in 2027).
Lose and Miami keeps their 2025 FRP in a very strong draft. It would be guaranteed to be the highest pick Miami has had in at least 10 years (baseline of #11, with 9.4% chance at top 4 and 2% chance at #1). Then Miami owes OKC the 2026 pick unprotected which also makes it so that the FRP owed to Charlotte automatically becomes the 2028 unprotected. Additional factor: I genuinely believe that getting into the playoffs will raise the cost to keep Davion Mitchell. Give him reps against Donovan Mitchell and Darius Garland in a playoff setting and his list of interested suitors will undoubtedly grow (no one has really paid attention to Miami post-Jimmy this season).

No game is easy in the play in when on the road. If the team is thinking the same way some of the heat fans are, they will lose.
These guys are pros and more than capable of getting hot at any time.
Wiggs vs trae
Herro vs Daniel's
Burks vs risascher ( this one scares me)
Bam vs okongwu
Ware vs gueye
This is my guess on how they start out. Mitchell struggles with trae, so this might not be his game. Much like the bulls, the Hawks will run in transition. They need to limit the live ball turnovers and make this a half court game. Ideally, bam and wiggins continue to set the tone by attacking the paint. This makes the game easier for everyone. If they make baskets, it's a bonus. But if those 2 just keep attacking and not settling, especially in the 1st, good things will happen. Then the floor is wide open for herro.

Hope he’s good, seems to be having some serious issues going on with him/his family recently.

Hawks are gonna focus everything on stopping our best player. Bam can’t struggle again tonight like he did against Chicago.

the Davion Mitchell thing i believe is a good problem. Its time for Miami to realize that good talent and players will cost money. The TJ and Duncan contracts were mistakes but DM with a proper offseason with us can be a legit stud.
