Game 1 steal incoming, we have some momentum after these last two games

It’s gonna be a slugfest, but I think if we hide Herro enough on their SF we can make it a good series

Davion and Highsmith are gonna have their hands full with the back court they’re shifty AF but I think they’ll be up for the task

Apparently Jovic was available for the Hawks game. I wonder if Spo has any plans to incorporate Jovic back into the rotation or if K Anderson/K Love are going to get the majority of the backup minutes.

I wonder if we’re going to start Mitchell or not. We’ll obviously be hiding Herro on Strus and just hope he can stay glued to him on the perimeter with Wiggins guarding 1 of Mitchell/Garland but that leaves Burks on the other. Seems like a tough matchup for him in a starting role but I guess we’ll see

Herro on strus
Burke (mitchell) on spider
Wiggins on garland.
Bam on mobley
Ware on Allen

Much like the past 2 games, we need to force wiggs and bam early. (People really don't understand their impact and why it's important to get them touches early. This ismt nba2k, they need to conserve their energy for the defensive end in the 2h.)

We should be able to get a bam or wiggins mismatch on a guard all game. The cavs won't play either guy straight up in the post, so the double will come: herro or Burks will be open or a lob/pocket pass to ware will open.

My guess is Jovic will only play during blowouts.. theres a higher chance we see Pelle back in the rotation for his perimeter defense..

If I remember well, Wiggins is not a good defender on Garland.
He is one of the few players that gives him problems to guard.

I think he guards Donovan Mitchel better.

Maybe Herro can go to Garland.
From what I saw so far, Herro cannot guard stronger players who bully him to the basket.
Garland may be a good matchup for Herro because he is not strong.

Davion Mitchel has the ability to guard both.
They fit to his height

Let's see what will be the matchups.

I will say one bad decision last night was benching Ware the entire 4th/OT. We win in regulation with him on the court next to Bam and Wiggins. Ware needs to play heavy minutes this series next to Bam, you can’t make 1 or the other fend for themselves out there against Mobley/Allen for majority of the game. Our matchups with them are pretty solid tbh.

Bernice maybe? Actually might not be a bad idea lmao! I googled it for spelling and it says "Bernice is a feminine name of Greek origin, meaning she who brings victory".

I wouldnt be surprised if this one gets ugly. Short turnaround vs. a well rested team, I still anticipate it will be a competitive series overall.
