2025 Playoffs: Round 1, Game 3: Cleveland @ Miami - 1pm EST on 4/26

Let's get some home cooking. Hope the Miami crowd is ready for this.
Bam needs to show the freshly minted DPOY why the award was given too soon. Tyler needs to outplay Mitchell on offense, and be atleast decent on the defensive end. Have some pride and show Garland that he needs to keep his trap shut! And hope Niko is spending every second of his waking hours getting back into shooting shape. Can't afford to keep airballing wide open 3s when his defender cheats off of him to go help in the paint.
Role players are supposed to play better at home, and we have a whole host of them, so LEGGGGOOOOO!!!
Oh, and let's not suck!

And to set the mood ...

Especially against the player that doesn't respect his offense and got his DPOY award.
I want to see him consistently go at Mobley the way he did in that physical matchup against Jaren Jackson Jr.

The triple double won’t be good enough, he has to score over 30 at minimum. Points is the only thing that makes the fans happy, lock in. Edrice has busted Mobley’s ass all year, no point in stopping now so hopefully Spo gets him involved this time around
Herro needs to take the Garland stuff personal and so does the rest of the team. Your opponent is laughing at you in the media, they don’t give a damn about you and they’re not worried about you because they know if they need a bucket they just need to single you out real quick to score. It’s time to turn the tables and target garland, he’s almost as weak of a defender as Herro if not as weak
Davion, keep it up.
Wiggins, do something positive for the love of god!!!

You been going in lately
But I don't expect and won't get my hopes up for a triple double. But we need to get a 25+ game for Bam. A game where the defense does not feel comfortable just leaving him open and is game planning against him at least to some extent, in addition to Tyler.
I said it in another thread, but I'd like to see us force switches to have Donovan and/or Garland on him and go to work. Make them work on D. If not getting those switches, he should quickly be attacking Mobley and Allen off the dribble. No hesitation. And if they're sagging off (most likely), that 15 foot jumper has to be drained repeatedly in their face to make them adjust.

Surely the box score watchers are aware Bam was 1 assist away from a triple double last game in addition to elite defense and you all were livid he was being used as Shane Battier regardless of that. Points are king, everything else is irrelevant

If we can get Wiggins up to 55% then we have a chance.

If we can get anything at all from Wiggins offensively and he and Tyler start playing some defense we can definitely get at least 1 of these at home, hopefully both

We had everyone at practice today from the top of the organization to the bottom, UD was there as well from the video I saw and it looked like he and Bam were explaining things to Wiggins. The boys seem extremely locked in, we’ll see if it translates tomorrow

If you look at the stats, the great, 2 time all star Darius Garland is giving up 67% shooting. Strus and Donovan are also giving up over 50%. The difference is, like I've been saying, they're only having to defend 10 shots a game. Meanwhile they smartly have our poor defenders, guys like Herro, having to defend 17. That's huge, and that's on our offense.
https://www.nba.com/stats/players/defense-dash-overall?SeasonType=Playoffs&TeamID=1610612748We have to find a way to get mismatches and force their weak defenders to defend. It will help us on both sides of the ball. This is where Bam and Wiggins have to be better.
