Maybe pistons? Desperately need shooting and Malik Beasley is under federal investigation now.
If we can somehow ship him out to nets or pistons even for a 2nd rounder and sign Burks. Ill tip my cap to Riley. Memphis also needs shooting now that bane is gone. But they dont want kennard so probably not... maybe part of Sacramento trade for derozan?

I like what Utah did to sexton. I wish we had the same balls to move on from mid tier talent

The Pistons do make sense.
I wonder what his new salary will be? It has to be closer to vet min than what he was making.

Detroit would also be somewhat of a homecoming for Michigan alum Duncan.

If im the Heat, i definitely would not trust the front office to understand what his true market value is.. especially after offering caleb 65 million and he rejected it just to end up with a 35 milli deal…
So ill let duncan explore offers, he can present those offers to the Heat.. if hes getting anything more than 5 million, then thank you for that one fourth quarter where you went crazy against the nuggets in the finals, but we gotta move on

Does Charlotte even have a big anymore? They might be gearing up to make a run at hometown hero Edrice.

Is Kuminga that much better than JJJ if we featured JJJ the way we would have to for Kuminga?
Last year was a down year for JJJ, and he was still better per minute than Kuminga at pretty much everything and more efficient, just had far less usage and shots. Normally I'd roll my eyes at comparing someone taking a lot less shots than someone else and assuming a similar efficiency would be maintained with the bump but with JJJ I really think part of his struggle has been low usage and not getting a rhythm.
https://stathead.com/basketball/versus-finder.cgi?player_id2=jaqueja01&year_min=2025&player_id1=kuminjo01&seasons_type=forall&request=1&utm_campaign=2023_01_wdgt_player_comparison&utm_medium=sr_xsite&utm_id=kuminjo01&utm_source=bbrEither way, Kuminga seems like character wise he is not a good fit, and JJJ is a total team player. The age difference isn't that different either. Not sure I want to move JJJ or cut his minutes to get someone who isn't quantifiably more talented to be given the ball to chuck. Especially if JJJ was benched for this dude it might be bad for culture.
