So, I still think we trade Wiggins to LA but I think we end up with Rui and Knecht, but no first. Seems like a compromise we should be able to live with

Looking more and more like a run it back and see what we can do without major distractions year. I’m guessing this is the extent of “rebuilding” that the Arisons are willing to go. That being stockpiling mid to late first round players & being just good enough for the play in/8th seed ceiling. Interesting to see what attendance numbers look like next season and if there’s any significant drop

I think run it back is a bit disingenuous. We are not running back the exact same team, and players will be in new, expanded roles to see how they fit. Terry is banished and Duncan gone, Jimmy is gone too.

It will be different and it should be.

Yeah, I don't see a problem with it as long as our young guys (those that are deserving, anyways) get lots of room to develop.

I want to know what we have with Mitchell, Dru Smith, KJ, Jaime, Jovic, Ware, Pelle, and maybe even Keshad Johnson (he's the one I think may not be deserving).

No ii's not. It's the same sheet. The core of the team is the same. It's a bet on one of Herro & Bam being an all nba guy which they are not. But they are too coward to go all in on them and too proud to rebuild. So again, its the middling road.
They're hoping one of them can make a leap or a major star asks for a trade to Miami. It's the same playbook as last season.

What they should have done is a full rebuild. And gone all in, on accumulating assets and developing young guys. I'm glad they're not doing any dumb trades but they still haven''t picked a direction. They're just stalling for another season

I was watching a short yesterday and they had a grip strength meter they were passing around to the SL team. Kelel finished 1st by a bit. Then Goldin got it and tied him.

We gonna have some muscle in the paint this season.
