If he'd only spike his hair Zoolander-style, I'd back off.

MartyConlonJr wrote:While I haven't ripped on him yet, is it that hard to understand that we dropped Penny, who probably does everything better than Luke, so that we could get some sniper like 3 point shooting (Penny was shooting 42.1% from 3 BTW) and thus far Luke is shooting 16.7% from three. We can't help but be disappointed. I'll give him some time though, half hoping he continues to help shoot us out of games, but otherwise hoping he gets it going Kapono style for the future.

I completely understand this kind of post, and I agree that I we should expect more from him, because he has shot horribly. But this is far more constructive discussion than the thread meant for. I personally think that this is a lost season, so I don't mind seeing if he can shoot his way out of his slump and regain some confidence. He's only appeared in 7 games with a team that's kind of a mess right now anyways.

It's the thing I like least about Miami fans.

You must not have traveled away from the Miami boards then. This is nothing. Head on over to a major Lakers site. They are in constant war with each other.

lol, you are right I don't visit the other boards, I stick to Miami. I guess I was comparing the quick stab in the back attitude with European fans and european sports.

The few times I've been to Miami I've noticed this though. Even in the good old days of don shula and the Fins, a couple of losses and the fans attacked.

Me too! Did you recently watch the Golden Compass (I did)? That could be why. Read a lot of Harry Potter (I do)? Also could be why.

Puke Wack-son sucked it up yet again against the Mavs...turned the ball over on an inbounds pass that lost the game for us...how bad can you be??

0-6 and the game losing pass. Stone hand Luke continues the mystery that is known as.... why? 23% from the field, 15% from 3 pt range.
