Luke Jackson Question

Post#1 » by door97426 » Tue Jan 8, 2008 2:51 pm

Is His contract Guaranteed?

Didn't we have to cut him yesterday to stop his salary from becoming guaranteed if it wasn't.

Does this mean we will have him here all season instead of trying out some 10 day contracts?

Is there another date to cut players and save some of their salary?

Why would you want to cut him? He's our most valuable player right now. The more he plays, the closer we get to our goal. I'll be the first to say it, Luke should be playing 40 minutes a game. We need his 23% FG% out on the floor.

I agree, the turdchucker came out firing blanks from the start. I seriously questioned this signing as recently as last week. But I'm starting to see the light now. The turdchucker could possibly equal Rose or Beasley in the upcoming draft. This of course, makes his rim breaking shots invaluable.

Wow Thanks for the Insight

But i'd like to know the answers to those questions Please.

How much can we save and is it too late now.

There are many guys who we can try with a 10 day.

I think it is too late, but I can't be sure. It would be more than a little surprising if that were the case since he has been absolutely awful. You would think they would have opened up that spot for rotating 10 day tryouts.

T-Chuck is guaranteed for the year. Plus, Riley fawned all over him on the radio yesterday, saying he had the best workout of any player they brought in that year (when we got Dorrell and Al Jefferson went later than T-Chuck). Riley knows that this guy gets him the biggest balls in June. Sheeeeeeeeeeeeit.

T-Chuck is a great nickname, haha.

But yeah, Luke Brickson getting 4th quarter minutes is our ticket to the #1 pick.

Release Luke?!? Luke is amazingly bad! If we release this guy he's going to kill us down the stretch missing shots for someone else.

FYI, "Luke Brickson" isn't a clever enough name to overuse like you seem to be doing
